BEFORE YOU START When you launch the game, a message reminding you that
all your ingame gains are only temporary and will be reset before the final release. This may occur even several times before the final game release, at the end of each “
Testing Season”
. At this moment, you will be rewarded with BitCrystals for a specific achievement (number of waves finished, number of cards evolved at their maximum stage, etc.). Click on the screen to continue. 2 2 . WELCOME TO ASKIAN! You can see your game progress on the map of Askian. The green points indicate the levels you have successfully finished, the blue one shows you the next one. You can’t access a level without having successfully finished the previous one. On the top, you can see (from left to right): your username, the total amount of your Gold, Elemental Crystals and Gems (Gems will be implemented in the final release). Below your username, you can see your Stamina (the heart symbol), which indicates your health and the time you can play until your Stamina goes to 0 and you’ll have to wait for its refill. 3 The
main menu
is situated on the bottom (from left to right): “Play” to access the gameplay directly, “Team” to view, level up and fuse your cards or recompose your deck and “Summon” to obtain new cards. Swipe the screen down to move the map and to see all the levels. 4 3. PLAY To access the game, you can either click on the level indicated by the blue spot on the map, or choose the button “Play” from the main menu (on the bottom of your screen). First, a level introduction screen will appear. Read a part of the gameplay story and see the Stamina you need to play the level. Then you can enter the battle, or return back. 5 Click on “To Battle” to continue to the gameplay. 6 4. KNOW YOUR TEAM By tapping on a character, you can see their stats. For example, my
“Unicorn” is a
rare “base card”
(the number I. in the righttop corner of the card), second Level
from four. For more information about the types of cards (rare et.c), see the part
“7.Get More Cards”
, for more information about the card evolution (“base card” etc.), see the part
"8.Card Evolution System”
. 7 Below the character’s picture are shown (from left to right): health (7; the heart symbol), attack (1), speed (4) and element (ice). Spells Some cards have a
spell a special effect, having a function on your card(s), or on your enemy. For example my “
Unicorn
” has this spell: “Increase the countdown of a random enemy by 1”. The spell is shown as a small snowflake in the leftbottom corner of the card. A card’s spell is derived from their
element
. Each card is assigned one of those six elements: ● Earth ● Water ● Fire ● Ice ● Dark ● Light All the spells derived from the same element are in the same category (for example all the icederived spells freeze an enemy), but each spell varies a bit from another one. Click “OK” to return to the gameplay. 8 5. DESTROY YOUR ENEMIES! The orb (one or several, depending on the game level) on the playground represents your enemy. The number on the enemy’s orb indicates the number of turns (your shots) after which he will shoot. The bigger your enemy’s orb is, the stronger he is. It shrinks every time you hit his orb. For each enemy you destroy, you receive some Elemental Crystals. Some enemies may leave a bonus (heart, sword, bomb). When hitting a bonus you benefit from their power (e.g. heal your character or increase their attack power). 9 Just above your deck are displayed (from left to right): wave you’re currently playing (each level consists of three waves), average speed of your Team, Gold and Elemental Crystals received so far in this level. After you have successfully finished a level, a screen showing you the total amount of Gold and Elemental Crystals you won during this level appears. 10 6. MANAGE YOUR TEAM Click on “Team” to view all your cards. Recompose Your Deck You can recompose your deck, consisting of 4 characters, shown as “Your Team”. four different types of cards
, depending on their rarity: ● Common ●
Rare ●
Epic ●
Legendary 8. CARD EVOLUTION SYSTEM There are two ways of evolving your card: ● Levelingup ● Fusing Levelingup Each card has a certain number of levels, according to their type: ● Common card 3 levels ● Rare card 4 levels ● Epic card 5 levels ● Legendary card 6 levels To
levelup a card, or
upgrade it to the next level, you need a certain amount of Elemental Crystals (see the part
“6.Manage Your Team” for an exact amount of Elemental Crystals needed to upgrade each type of card). Fusing When you have two identical copies of one
“Base Card” (e.g. 2x “
Minotaur”
), on their maximum level (both on level 3 for “
Minotaur
”, which is a common card), then you can fuse them to get a stronger card (“
Minotaur Shield Holder”
) a “
Dual Fused Card”
. When fusing two base cards, level maximum, you remove them from your collection. One dual fused card on level 1 will appear in your collection, instead of these two base cards. Then you have to levelup this dual fused card again, in two copies, before fusing these again to get a “
Quad Fused Card”
(“
Devastating Minotaur
”). Finally, you have to levelup your quad fused card to their maximum level again. In the final game release, you will be able to “
blockchainize
” you quad fused cards on their maximum level. A blockchain card can still be played within the game, or sold outside, on the blockchain. 16 Card Evolution Scheme 17
