Human IMPACTS tree #1 This photo is an example of human IMPACTS tree. I took it in Central Park. The tree is not how it would be in nature. Humans have manipulated how the tree would be in nature without any manipulation. As shown in the photo, there is clearly manipulation of the tree’s branches to form what appears to be a gate. Human IMPACTS Tree #2 This is an example of humans impacting a tree. This appears like it may be humans accepting the tree, however, it is easy to tell that the tree has suffered at the hands of human intervention. All that is left of it is the trunk, and it does not have any more branches or leaves. Human ACCEPTS Tree #1 This is an example of human accepts trees. The tree is still in its natural state and humans have made sure to build around it rather than cutting it down or removing its branches. Human ACCEPTS Tree #2 This is an example of human accepts tree. The tree is still rooted into the ground and its bark shows that it is still alive. Although it is technically” indoors,” it receives light and enough water to survive. Tree IMPACTS Human #1 This photo is an example of tree impacts human. I took it in Central Park. By looking at the picture it is easy to tell that the trees roots have started to lift the bricks in the walkway. This impacts humans due to the fact that the overgrown roots have caused unevenness the pavement. Tree IMPACTS Human #2 This photo is an example of tree IMPACTS human. I took it in Central Park. The roots of the tree have overgrown and are on the surface of the pavement now. Even though the walkway is covered by trees, the roots have surfaced. This is an example of trees impacting humans because it interferes with the walkway, and people may trip and fall if they are not careful. Tree ACCEPTS human #1 This photo is an example of tree accepts human. I took this photo in Central Park. Although the trees roots are overgrown and quite large, they are easily visible and are growing alongside the manmade pavement without destroying anything in their path. Tree ACCEPTS Human #2 This photo is an example of tree accepts human. It was taken on a rooftop apartment in Manhattan. The plants have grown over part of the manmade patio. On the left side of the photo, you can see the roots of the plant growing on one of the pillars of the patio before it reaches out and spreads across the top of the patio.
