1.
The United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank
toward the cost of the South West Indian Ocean Fisheries Governance and Shared
Growth Program (SWIOFish), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward
payments under the bid for Supply of 2 FWD Station Wagon Vehicles and 15 Motorcycles.

The Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries Zanzibar now invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for Supply of 2 FWD Station Wagon Vehicles and 15 Motorcycles. The
procurement of goods under this bidding is divided into two (2) lots as detailed below
and bidders may submit bids for any one or all lots. Evaluation will be done lot by lot.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures
as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and NonConsulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank
Borrowers Jan 2011 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as
defined in the Procurement Guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of
Livestock and Fisheries, Secretary Tender Board and e-mail [email protected]
and inspect the bidding documents during office hours. 07:30 to 15:30 hours at the
address given below

A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested
eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and
upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Tanzanian Shilling 100,000/= or in a
convertible currency. The method of payment will be Cash. The document will be sent
by Post or Courier.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 11:00 am 29
December, 2015 Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives
and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on 11:15 am 29 December.
7.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of United States Dollar $3,000 for
Lot No. 1 and $1600.
