We would like to express our thanks to APBS for generously allowing us to share this recording of Kelsey Morris. 4 Link to Video https://apbs.webex.com/apbs/lsr.php?RCID=d76 f4cc6e0462013044720a89d37d636 TFI and TFI Walkthrough Tool http://www.pbis.org/evaluation/evaluationtools 5 Use of TFI • Created to provide ONE efficient, valid, and reliable tool that can be used over time to be used: – At baseline by a school who is interested in getting started with PBIS – As a guide for implementation of Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III practices – As a tool for sustained implementation – As a metric for identifying schools for recognition 6 Use of TFI cont. • Our plan for 2015-16 is to use TFI for recognition criteria for Tier II and Tier III. • Facilitator completes appropriate section with the system team. (i.e., Tier II) • Facilitator also completes BOQ walk through. • May also use the TFI for other purposes described, however, schools/programs must complete tools required by Network. 7 BOQ Walk Through 8 BOQ Walk Through 9 BOQ Walk Through 10 Important Dates • Application due November 2 – *submit 2014-15 annual data in pTrack • School-wide Evaluation Tool (SET/PreSET) must be completed by March 25, 2016 • Benchmarks of Quality (BoQ) must be completed by April 8, 2016 • Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) with BoQ walkthrough must be completed by April 8, 2016 11 Tier I Initial Implementation with Fidelity • For a school wide site (SW) or program wide site (PW) who has NOT been previously recognized • OR was recognized in a prior year, but NOT the 2014-15 school year (recognized at the Forum last May) 12 Criteria • Program or school received a score of a 70% or above on the BoQ, which was facilitated by a Network Facilitator, during the Spring of 2015 • Application is submitted by November 2, 2015 • SET/PreSET completed by Network endorsed evaluator and school receives a score of 80/80 or above • 2014-15 data is submitted to pTrack or Early Childhood PBIS Database by November 2, 2015 when application is due 13 Tier I Sustained Implementation with Fidelity • For a school or program who was recognized in Spring 2015 • Application and data submitted by November 2, 2015 • BoQ completed with a Network Facilitator in the Spring of 2016 (due by April 8, 2016) and school receives a score of an 80% or above 14 Tier I and Tier II Implementation with Fidelity (*NEW!) • For a SW or PW who was recognized in Spring 2015 • Application and data submitted by November 2, 2015 • BoQ completed with a Network Facilitator (due by April 8, 2016) and school/program receives a score of an 80% or above • TFI (Tier II section) with BoQ walk through completed with a Network Facilitator (due by April 8, 2016) and school/program receives a score of an 80% or above 15 Implementation with Fidelity at all three Tiers (*NEW!) • For a school or program who was recognized in Spring 2015 • Application and data submitted by November 2, 2015 • BoQ completed with a Network Facilitator (due by April 8, 2016) and school/program receives a score of an 80% or above • TFI (Tier II and Tier III sections) with BoQ walk through completed with a Network Facilitator (due by April 8, 2016) and school/program receives a score of an 80% or above 16 Frequently Asked Questions • A document will be sent out after this session 17 Application information • Download from www.PAPBS.org • Submit completed application to: [email protected] 18
