TFI and TFI Walkthrough Tool
http://www.pbis.org/evaluation/evaluationtools
5
Use of TFI
• Created to provide ONE efficient, valid, and
reliable tool that can be used over time to be
used:
– At baseline by a school who is interested in getting
started with PBIS
– As a guide for implementation of Tier I, Tier II, and
Tier III practices
– As a tool for sustained implementation
– As a metric for identifying schools for recognition
6
Use of TFI cont.
• Our plan for 2015-16 is to use TFI for
recognition criteria for Tier II and Tier III.
• Facilitator completes appropriate section with
the system team. (i.e., Tier II)
• Facilitator also completes BOQ walk through.
• May also use the TFI for other purposes
described, however, schools/programs must
complete tools required by Network.
