The Outside Edge ISSUE 2 JULY 14, 2017 Presentation Night This season’s presentation night is in the process of being finalised. It will not be at the Pennant Hills Bowling club as per last year. We are trying to keep the price at $50 per head and will be held in early June 2017. Watch this space! Annual General Meeting The club AGM will be held in early July 2017. Currently, we are seeking a club secretary after Harish Ajura stood down late last year. It would be most appreciated if someone can assume this position from the next club meeting which will be held on Thursday 9th February 2017. Training Senior club training is still being held at the Glenhaven Park nets on Tuesday afternoons from 5pm. The Banksias The Kenthurst Banksias next tour will be to Brisbane this November to see England play Australia for the Ashes urn. John Campo is seeking interested players and deposits to secure a seat for this popular trip. The Classics The Classics over 50’s team has won their last five games and are sitting 6th in a 16 team comp. With two games to go, hopefully they can make the top four. Unfortunately, there are no semi-finals as it’s a points based comp. Well done to the old lads... (Careful there Mr Henson - you bleed! DF) Annual Golf Day The HKHDCA are holding their annual golf day on Friday 17th February 2017. If you would like to play or organise a group of 4 please contact your team captain and/or inform Craig Henson on 0421-277-707. General Currently the U/15’s are in 1st position, U/14’s are 2nd & U/13’s in 4th. Along with our A2 team in 1st position, keep up the good work lads. Work at Kenthurst Park is underway with the carpark unable to be used by the public. Trees have been removed making way for the upgrade to the park. Please allow more time to find parking when playing there. Craig Henson – Club Registrar Keep Fit, Have Fun, Play Cricket Please Support our Sponsors
