1. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. If an exhibitor or spectator is seen
engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct or any mistreatment of animals, the person(s) will
be given a warning. If it is felt necessary, the person(s) will be asked to leave the property
and no refund will be given.
2. The exhibitor is responsible for errors on the entry forms. A horse entered in the wrong
class may be transferred to its correct class prior to the start of the event.
3. Juniors are exhibitors age 16 and under as of the first of January of the current year. The
Open and Walk/Trot divisions are open for all ages.
4. No cross entering for points between Open, Junior, and Walk/Trot divisions.
5. Only one (1) run per horse/rider combination is permitted in each pointed class. In the
event of a tie for Champion and/or Reserve Champion for any division, we will use a tie
breaker class. If you are not present at the Finals show, you forfeit your award, and it will
go to the next person.
6. In the event that the horse breaks the timer line during a run, it will result in a No Time. If
the timer line is broken due to malfunction and/or dust, then a re-run will be allowed.
7. In the event of a horse and/or rider fall, or if the pattern is broken (off course), it will
result in a No Time.
8. Flag Race: A proper stick is when the point of the flag has crossed the top plane of the
bucket and is stuck in the floor dry. The bucket must stay on top of the barrel.
9. A knocked down barrel or pole will result in a five (5) second penalty. Stepping out of
the keyhole is a No Time. Touching a pole will result in a five (5) second penalty.
10. All decisions made by Safe Haven Stables/Spanaby Enterprises staff are final.
