The Government of the Punjab has received a loan/credit from the International Development
Association towards the cost of Punjab Cities Governance Improvement project and intends to apply part of
the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Schemes given below. Bidding is open to all bidders
from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA
Credits.
The Works & Services Department, City District Government, Multan invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the construction/repair of below mentioned work.

1. Tenders/bidding documents can be purchased from the office of District Officer (Building)
Multan with payment of tender fee PKR: 2000/- in shape of CDR/Bank Draft (Non Refundable
basis).
2. Interested bidders/contractors shall provide 2% bid security of each work in shape of CDR/Bank
Draft from scheduled banks in the name of District Officer (Building), Multan
3. All bidders shall be required to submit with their bid, qualification information specified in the
bidding documents. This information shall be used to establish through post-qualification
whether the bidder is qualified to perform the work or not.
4. Bids are required to be submitted on item rate basis (not on the basis of composite schedule of
rates with percentage premium) and the rates and amount (in Rupees) must be filled by the
bidder for each item in the Bill of Quantities and provide a total price. Non-compliance may
result in rejection of bid.
5. Bidders should give their best and final price in their bids as no negotiations are expected.
6. As provided in the bidding documents, bidders engaged in corrupt or fraudulent practices
(including collusion/pooling) will be declared ineligible, either indefinitely or for a stated period
of time.
Tenders will be opened in Office of the Executive District Officer (F&P) Multan
by District Tender Board in the presence of intending bidders or their representative with
terms and conditions as mentioned in the tender documents.
