Tournament Information and Playing Rules
Eligibility
This Tournament is open to all bowlers.
Format
This is a singles tournament
30 bowlers will bowl 4 games in Round 1
Top 15 bowlers will proceed to Round 2
(4 game total pinfalls from Round 1 )
Bowlers will bowl 2 games in Round 2
Top 8 bowlers will proceed to Final Round
(2 game total pinfalls from Round 2 )
Bowlers will bowl ONE game in the Final Round
Highest Game (with handicap) will decide the winner
Pinfalls will not be carried forward.
Bowlers will bowl from scratch in every round
This is a handicap event based on the following format:
Bowler’s handicap will be based on 80% (base 200) of their highest league
average as at 30th June 2013
Ties
In the event of a tie in total score at any stage of the event, the higher high
game (with handicap) from all games bowled in that round will decide the
outcome.
Dress Code
A neat and tidy dress code is required.
Disclaimer
Any matters not included in these rules will be decided upon by the Centre
Management and Organiser at their discretion.
This is a fund raiser event for WTBC members & Bowlarama league bowlers
who will be representing the New Zealand Team at the World Championships
in Las Vegas in August 2013.
