The Notice of Race is amended as follows.
The clause describing the scoring for the Kingston Trophies PPWCS Perpetual
Teams Trophy is replaced by the following clause.
11 PRIZES
o The Kingston Trophies PPWCS Perpetual Teams Trophy will be awarded
to the club with the highest level of participation, scored using the
following criteria –
1.1.1. Number of boats participating from each club as a percentage of
the total number of boats on their keelboat register
1.1.2. Number of races in the series sailed by each boat. Bonus points
for boats competing in all five races
1.1.3. Percentage of females in the crew on each race day
1.1.4. Total number of ‘novice’ females on board. The definition of
‘novice’ for this event is - has been sailing for less than 18 months
1.1.5. Bonus points for helms meeting the following criteria –
Youth helms (under 25yrs) prior to the first race day of the series.
Senior helms (over 60yrs) prior to the first race day of the series.
Novice female helm - has not previously helmed in any PPWCS
event.
