Proposition of VideoCulture Fest 2016
Required length:
1) Maximum length of the movie is 25 minutes.
2) Recommended movie length is 10 – 15 minutes.
Technical parameters of the movie:
1) Film can be made in any form.
2) For participation in the festival it must be loaded on YouTube or Vimeo server.
Legal matters:
1) Movie that takes a part in a compettion must meet the requirements of YouTube and Vimeo servers and must not
break authors law.
2) Every author it takes responsibility for his/her movie.
Product:
1) Organizators reserve the right to reject the movie with harmful content (rasismus, pornografy, xenophobia, etc.).
2) Movie does not have to be in Czech language and also Czech subtitles are not necessary.
3) Movies must be created only by amateurs. We will not receive professional work.
Delivery of the movie:
1) Via internet application form with link to the movie placed on YouTube or Vimeo server.
2) Each author can register only 1 movie.
3) Aplication and participation on VideoCulture 2016 is free of charge.
4) Movies can be registered from 1st November 2016, 8:00 pm until 15th November 2016, 8:00 pm.
Competition categories and genres:
1) This year is only one category, all together.
2) The competition through all genres
This prizes will be awarded:
• 1. award, 2. award, 3. award for a film from professional jury
• One special award for a film from professional jury
• Award from visitors of our website (winner of online voting)
Online voting:
1) Online voting begins 16th November 2016, 20:00 pm and ends 23rd November 2016, 20:00 pm.
Results:
1) The announcement of the results will be posted on our web and Facebook pages at the latest to 4th December
2016. The winners will be extra notified by email.
2) Potential awards will be sent by post to the address given on the application form and on the organisators behalf.
Organisators reserve the right to change rules, prizes which will be awarded and categories.
