FCYO: Instructions to Parents & Players for Performance
at Kilcoole Music Festival & Meal/Get-together afterwards
11.30 – 16.30 Saturday 15 November 2014
Please note that the arrangements/timetable below are designed to take into account the following:
1) Players may not get to eat until ~15:30, so it is essential that they are well fed beforehand;
2) We may get limited warm-up time in the venue, so players must come IN UNIFORM with music,
instrument, and stand, ready to play;
3) Parents do not have to stay, but if you wish to see the performance, it is scheduled for 13.45 (and whether you
stay for the performance or not, if you don’t want to go all the way home and come back @ 16.00, Kilcoole is
well placed for a Wicklow drive); Orchestra will provide players with a small snack + drink @ ~13.15.
4) (Main) Food & Drink is scheduled for ~15:30: we have had to leave it a bit later than we would wish as – in
the nature of these events – we cannot be sure when we will get to leave the venue;
5) We will also be organizing a Quiz/Game, with new players and old hands mixed on teams, to help all the
players get to know each other better;
6) Players should bring €5 as a contribution towards Food & Drink - FCYO will cover balance.
