March 2011
Happy Anniversary!
March 1, 2010 is our tenth
anniversary and we want to
say thank you to our parents
for your support and love.
On Tuesday, March 1st,
there will be refreshments
for our parents to show you
our appreciation. Again,
thank you so much for
letting us be a part of your
child’s life.
REREGISTRATION:
A letter has went out for
parents of 2 yr olds, 3 yr
olds, Pre-K ,Kinder and 1st
grade students to let you
know we need you to make
a decision on whether your
child will be a part of our
preschool, Kindergarten, 1st
or 2nd grade program during
fall 2011. We have been
getting many calls asking
for spots for next year and I
want to make sure everyone
currently enrolled gets first
chance. Please see me if
you have any questions
about the registration.
Parents, Kindergarten is a
great way to make sure your
child gets a solid
foundation, not only in the
biblical sense, but
academically. The price is
really nice at $300.00 per
month for 8:00 – 2:45. If
before/after care is needed,
it is only $150.00 more.
Meals are included. The
children will learn cursive
handwriting, History,
Health, and Science and
more. 1st & 2nd Grade will
be the same price; the only
difference is in the cost of
books, which will be $150.
Registration will be open to
the public beginning March
21st. Once our classes our
full, a waiting list will be
started.
SPRING BREAK:
COMAL ISD Spring break is the
week of March 14-18th. If you
have an afterschooler and will
need care during this week,
please inform the office.
EASTER PICTURES:
Mr. Zavala will be here March
23rd to take individual spring
pictures. It will be prepaid this
time so if you are interested, we
need the money up front in order
for the child’s picture to be
taken. See the front office for
prices and envelopes.
In April we will be doing the
class pictures and individual
pictures will be offered only to
Pre-K and Kinder in cap and
gown.
KINDER/1ST GRADE SAT
TESTING:
We will be administering the
SAT to our kindergarten/1st
graders beginning April 4th.
Please make sure your child gets
plenty of rest and is here and
ready to starting testing at 8:00
a.m.
Today….we wish you a day of
ordinary miraclesA fresh pot of coffee you didn’t
have to make yourself.
Green stoplights on your way to
work or shop.
We wish you a day of little things
to rejoice in…
The fastest line at the grocery
store.
Your keys right where you look.
We wish you a day of happiness
and perfection-little bite-size
pieces of perfection that give you
the funny feeling someone is
smiling on you, holding you so
gently because you are someone
special and rare. We wish you a
day of peace, happiness and joy.
They say it takes a minute to
find a special person, an hour to
appreciate them, a day to love
them, but then an entire life to
forget them.
Remind someone today how
much Jesus loves them. He
places you right where He wants
you to be.
