WELCOME FROM THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
As we approach the end of another successful season it is time to look forward to season
2017/18. As you can see during this season we have had a re structure of our Committee with
Natalie Atkinson taking over as Chairperson and myself becoming the EMJFL's first Chief
Executive Officer, with Brian Kennerley staying on as Secretary. This season also saw the
EMJFL going back to 11 a-side games after an absence of five years and for the new season
we are extending the 11 a-side age groups to include Under 15's. Our younger age groups go
from strength to strength with all U7's to U12's playing on 3G pitches at central venues and
this will be the same for the new season. At the present time we are planning on using our
existing venues but as always we will be investigating new venues as they become available.
All age groups will contest the Primary Cup (all teams) and JFC Sports Cup (a divisional
competition. The Paul Hett Trophy (a divisional competition) will only be competed for by
age groups using 3G central venues. As in previous seasons all age groups from U7's to U10's
will compete in a Cup Final and the finals will once again be held on the stadium pitch at
Curzon Ashton FC.
I would ask all Clubs applying to join that you check the costs and payment criteria before
applying as these will have to be strictly applied. Clubs will notice that the cost of entering
teams has risen by an average !0% but this is offset by the abolishing of player registration
charges making an average increase of 5% which equates to about 15p per player per week.
We have had to make these adjustments due to the ever increasing cost of running the league
and making sure we stay one of the biggest and best leagues in the country.

THE OFFER
All U7’s, U8’s, U9’s, U10’s, U11’s and U12’s will be played on 3G pitches with U13’s, U14’s
and 15'S playing on a home and away basis
U7’s will play Sundays at Tameside Stadium (Curzon Ashton FC) with kick off times 9.00,
9.45, 10.30, 11.15, 12.00, 12.45 and 1.30 (Max 84 Teams)
U8’s with play Saturdays at Tameside Stadium (Curzon Ashton) with kick off times as per
U7’s
U9’s with play Saturdays at Wright Robinson Sports College and Broadshurst Park with kick
off times 8.45, 9.40, 10.35, 11.30, 12.25 and 1.20 (Max 84 Teams)
U10’s will play Saturdays at Wright Robinson Sports College and Martinfields (Denton Youth
JFC) with kick off times 8.45, 9.40. 10.35, 11.30, 12.25 and 1.20 (Max 84 Teams)
U11’s will play Saturdays at, Ten Acres Lane Sports Complex, Mike Doyle Centre (Reddish
NE), The Belle Vue Complex, Hopwood Hall College and Oasis Academy with kick offs 8.45,
10.00, 11.15 and 12.30 (Max 84 teams)
U12’s will play Sundays at Wright Robinson Sports College and Belle Vue Complex on 3G
with kick off times 8.45, 10.00, 11.15, 12.30, and 1.45 (Max 84 teams)
U13’s U14’s and U15's will play Sundays on a home and away basis (Teams to arrange a
suitable venue and kick off time)
There will also be a Saturday League for U14’s playing at Astley Sports College (on grass)
There will be 3 pitches with 3 kick off times. The pitches will be hired direct from Dukinfield
Youth JFC at a cost of £400.00 per team per season
Clubs should consider the venue’s and kick off times before applying to enter the League
For U7’s to U12’s it is hoped to have divisions of 12 giving teams up to 30 weeks football

PLAYER REGISTRATION
For Season 2017/18 the EMJFL will adopt the new registration process being introduced by
the FA under the "FA Whole Game" system. This will result in major changes to the way
players are registered with the League, payment and ID cards. The County FA's will be
instructing member Clubs as to how the system will work and how to register your players
onto the system. Once entered onto the system the EMJFL will verify the age of each player
using either previous EMJFL ID cards, birth certificates or passports and on completion of this
process players will be registered to play. On match days each team will have to be in
possession of a completed downloaded player list (full details of the process will be available
on request)
REFEREE’S FEES
For all U13’S, U14'S and U15'S the home team will be responsible for paying the referee’s
fees in league fixtures. For cup fixtures referee’s fees will be shared half each team. Fees for
all matches will be £30.00
PAYMENT TERMS
Once your application has been received and approved a non returnable deposit of £100.00 per
team will be required to secure your place in the League. This will form part of the payment
process which will be as follows. Total League fees will be invoiced to each Club by 1/8/2017
The first payment due on or before 14/8/2017 will be £100.00 per team, the remaining fees can
be split into three equal payments due on the following dates 30/10/2017, 30/12/2017 and a
final payment 28/2/2018. As we are adopting the "FA Whole Game" system for player
registrations these will be free of charge. Clubs not adhering to these payment terms may have
fixtures suspended or incur financial penalties

COSTING AND FORMAT FOR SUMMER LEAGUE 2017
This will be the eighth year of the ever popular Summer League, as in previous years
the age groups will be as for the next full season (2017/18), therefore if you have
played as U7’s this season in the Summer League you will enter as U8’s
The season will start on the weekend 3rd and 4th June and run for 12 weeks, finishing
on the 26th and 27th August. U7’s, 8’s 9’s and 10’s will play a single team format U11’s
and 12’s will be 9 v 9 and U13’s will play 11 a-side Please note U7’s and U8’s will be
5 v 5, U9’s and 10’s 7 v 7. U7’s and 8’s will play 15 mins each way, U9’s and 10’s 20
mins each way, U11’s and 12’s will be 30 mins each way with U13’s 30 mins each
way
All matches will be played at either Curzon or Wright Robinson on 3G with all the
usual facilities, ie ample car parking, snack bar, toilets and changing room facilities.
Fees will include pitch hire and referees fees . All Clubs will be invoiced in the usual
way and fees can be paid in full by 31/5 or in two instalments (31/5 and16/7)
The U7’s will be Sunday mornings with ko times of 9.00, 9.45, 10.30, 11.15 and 12.00
The U8’s will be Saturday mornings with ko times of 9.00, 9.45, 10.30, 11.15 and
12.00
The U9’s and 10’s will be Saturday mornings with ko times of 8.45, 9.40, 10.35,
11.30, 12.25 and 1.20
The U11’s, will be Saturdays with ko times of 9.00, 10.15, 11.30 and 12.45
U12’s will be Sundays with ko times 9.00 and 10.15, 11.30 and 12.45
U13’s will be Sunday with ko times 8.40, 10.00, 11.20 and 12.40 and 2.00
