Somerset FA Women's U18’s Squad Trials

NOMINATE NOW: SFA are seeking a new squad of 16 players to compete in the South West
Counties Championship (max 4 mid-week games) to represent your club and SFA’s best young talent.
Last season we won the South West Counties Championship for the first time and want to retain this
trophy. Last seasons squad included players from across five different clubs in Somerset.
BENEFITS (CLUB & PLAYERS)
This will offer your players access to free physio treatment with our medical staff, high quality fixtures
and coaching and a chance to play amongst the best players in their age category. It’s a great boost for
your club and we will help you promote any selected players to the local media to show the great work
you are doing in women's football.
Each nominating club coach will receive 2 x tickets for the England Women's senior game on the 21st
September in Bournemouth. (See next page for how to nominate).
Please be sure you nominate players who are deemed as the most talented within the age group
category (U18) that you have in your club. We are seeking players competing in The County League,
South West Women's League, SW Combination League, FA Women's Premier League and The FA WSL.

Age Qualification:
On the 31st August 2013 must have reached the minimum age of 15 years old.
By midnight of the 31st August 2013 they have not turned 18 years old (Year 11, 12, 13 school/Year 1 or 2 College)
