Dear Parents/Caregivers
Summer League Hockey Term 1 2017:
Tuesday Junior League – Games from 4.30pm-6pm. (School Years 3 to 8) This module is
played on a ¼ turf, 20 min Halves (2 divisions, Teams will be graded where possible). This module
start on the 21st February and runs for 7 weeks. It is six-aside (with no goalie)
This is a social competition and although an attempt is made to grade teams of similar abilities please
be aware you could play teams that are of vastly differing experience and older than you.
The usual requirement of shoes, shin pads and mouth guards will apply.
The cost is $30-00 per child.
We will not enter the competition if there are not enough players to make a team and if there is no
Coach/Manager. Summer hockey is social so generally no trainings are held it is just turn up on the
night and play. Coach/Manager is required to organise team on the night and umpire (Umpiring can be
shared around)
