Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game Roster Announced
CHANDLER, Ariz. – The 2016 Victory Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA)
Division I Senior Game roster was announced on Monday with 50 student-athletes selected as either
participants or alternates for the contest held on Saturday, November 19th at 2:30 p.m. (Eastern) at Old
Dominion University.
The 38 participants for the contest are listed below, followed by the 12 alternates. Alternates would
take the spot of student-athletes who have been selected as participants but are unable to compete in
the Senior Game. All student-athletes are listed in alphabetical order.
2016 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game Participants
Lafayette goalkeeper Katelyn Arnold – A Second-Team All-Patriot League honoree in 2015, Arnold
finished with 75 saves and a 2.67 goals against average in her senior campaign.
Indiana midfielder Kate Barber – Barber was an NFHCA Third-Team All-American in her junior season,
and has posted 18 goals and four assists while starting all 19 contests this year.
Liberty midfielder Bethany Barr – Barr made the NFHCA South All-Region Team in each of the last two
seasons, and has totaled five goals and 11 assists in her senior year.
Liberty defender Serena Barr – Barr leads the Flames with 25 points this year by notching seven goals
and 11 assists after making the NFHCA South All-Region Team in the past two seasons.
Connecticut defender Olivia Bolles – Bolles made the NFHCA Mideast All-Region Team last season and
has started 18 games with a goal and four assists as a senior. She is a two-time All-Big East selection.
North Carolina attacker Emma Bozek – After missing the 2015 season with an injury, Bozek has come
back strong this year with four goals and two assists while starting all 17 contests.
Fairfield forward Ann Burgoyne – An NFHCA All-Mideast Region selection in each of the past two
seasons, Burgoyne leads her team with 11 goals and 30 points as a senior.
Old Dominion defender Megan Byas – Byas has started in every game for ODU for the third consecutive
season, with four goals and two assists and a team-high 26 shots in 2016.
Iowa forward Natalie Cafone – An NFHCA All-American in both 2013 and 2014, Cafone missed the 2015
campaign with an injury but has not lost a step this season with a team-high 20 goals and 48 points.
Princeton midfielder Catherine Caro – After receiving NFHCA First-Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors
in 2015, Caro has followed it up this season by leading the Tigers with 14 goals and 32 points.
Boston University forward Amanda Cassera – A Second-Team All-Patriot League honoree in each of the
past two seasons, Cassera leads the Terriers with nine goals and 22 points as a senior.
Wake Forest midfielder Emily Conroe – After starting all 40 contests for the Demon Deacons over the
past two seasons, Conroe has enjoyed a solid senior year with three goals and four assists.
Massachusetts forward Isabella Delario – An NFHCA Third-Team All-American as a junior, Delario has
put up a strong senior season with nine goals and six assists for Massachusetts.
Fairfield midfielder Julie de Paeuw – De Paeuw has notched six goals and 10 assists this season after
earning the MAAC Player of the Year award as a junior in 2015.
Northwestern forward Isabel Flens – Flens was an NFHCA Second-Team All-West Region selection in
2015 and has posted 15 goals and eight assists for 38 points this season.
Virginia forward Caleigh Foust – Foust has scored 39 goals in her career for the Cavaliers, including six
as a senior in 2016.
Monmouth defender Casey Hanna – A two-time MAAC Defensive Player of the Year, Hanna has three
goals and five assists while starting every game for a Monmouth squad with a 15-2 record.
Albany midfielder Paula Heuser – Heuser is a three-time NFHCA All-American and earned the national
Player of the Year honor as a sophomore in 2014. She has posted another strong season as a senior with
16 goals and 12 assists for the Great Danes.
Providence midfielder Adrienne Houle – After earning NFHCA Second-Team All-Northeast Region
honors as a junior, Houle has put together a strong senior season with a team-leading nine goals and 21
points.
Virginia midfielder Lucy Hyams – Hyams has tallied seven goals and seven assists for the Cavaliers in
2016 after earning NFHCA First-Team All-America honors as a junior.
Yale goalkeeper Emilie Katz – Katz emerged last season when she earned NFHCA Second-Team AllMideast Region recognition, and has kept it up with a 2.34 goals against average and .743 save
percentage in 2016.
Quinnipiac defender Angie King – King was an NFHCA All-Mideast Region pick in 2015, and has started
all 18 games this year while posting 13 defensive saves for the second straight season.
American forward Natalie Konerth – Konerth made the NFHCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region second team as
a junior, and leads the Eagles with 12 goals and 25 points this season.
Maryland forward Welma Luus – An NFHCA Second-Team All-American in 2015, Luus has helped
Maryland to a top-five ranking by leading the team with 13 goals and 30 points this season.
Lafayette midfielder Amanda Magadan – Magadan leads the Leopards with eight goals and 18 points as
a senior after earning All-Patriot League status in each of the last two seasons.
Louisville midfielder Erin McCrudden – McCrudden was an NFHCA Second-Team All-West Region pick in
2015 and leads the nation with 17 assists this season.
Duke forward Heather Morris – Morris made the NFHCA Second-Team All-South Region squad last
season and has posted 11 goals and three assists in 2016 for the top-ranked Blue Devils.
New Hampshire forward Lindsey Nerbonne – Nerbonne shares the team lead with 12 goals this season,
marking her third-straight year of recording double-figure goals for the Wildcats.
Delaware midfielder Esmee Peet – Peet has enjoyed an outstanding career that includes NFHCA AllAmerica status in each of the past two seasons, and has put up another great year as a senior with six
goals and five assists.
Saint Francis defender Shannon Pereira – Pereira has started in every game over the course of her
career at Saint Francis, and has eight goals and 10 assists for a team-high 26 points this season.
Albany goalkeeper Maxi Primus – Primus was an NFHCA Third-Team All-American in 2014 when she led
the nation in goals against average, and has another outstanding season going as a senior with a 1.11
GAA and .761 save percentage.
Maryland forward Emma Rissinger – Rissinger has five goals and shares the team lead with 11 assists
this season for the Terrapins, and has played in every game in her four-year career at Maryland.
Miami (Ohio) midfielder Carla Romagosa – Romagosa has seven goals and 11 assists in 2016 for the
Redhawks, leading her team in assists for the third consecutive season.
Columbia forward Katherine Ruesterholz – Ruesterholz has earned All-Ivy League honors in each of her
three previous seasons, and leads the Lions with 14 goals and 35 points this season.
Kent State midfielder Madison Thompson – Thompson has earned a spot on the All-MAC squad in each
of the last three seasons, and has three goals and three assists in 2016.
Maine midfielder Sydney Veljacic – Veljacic made the NFHCA All-Northeast Region first team in 2015
and has three goals with eight assists for the Black Bears this season.
Cornell midfielder Katy Weeks – Weeks was an NFHCA Second-Team All-Mideast Region pick last year
and has two goals and an assist while starting all 16 contests this season.
Miami (Ohio) goalkeeper Alysa Xavier – Xavier has started every game over the last two seasons for the
Redhawks, and has a 1.67 goals against average and .693 save percentage in 2016.
2016 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game Alternates
Iowa defender/midfielder Chandler Ackers – Ackers has tallied eight goals and seven assists in 2016 and
has started all but one contest over the past three years for the Hawkeyes.
Maine forward/midfielder Danielle Aviani – Aviani has six goals and eight assists for the Black Bears this
season, and has played in every game while starting all but three in her four-year career.
Harvard midfielder/defender Kyla Cordrey – Cordrey was an NFHCA All-Northeast Region second-team
selection in each of the past two seasons, and has played in every game in her career at Harvard while
starting each contest over the last three years.
Monmouth midfielder Alyssa Ercolino – Ercolino has started all 75 games in the midfield for the Hawks
over the past four seasons, and is second on her team with 12 goals and 10 assists this year.
La Salle goalkeeper Rachel Hartman – Hartman totaled over 100 saves for the third season in a row in
2016 for the Explorers while also notching a 1.96 goals against average and .766 save percentage.
Ohio State forward Brooke Hiltz – Hiltz has played in all but two games in her career at Ohio State, with
12 starts in 16 appearances in her senior season while notching an assist.
Columbia goalkeeper Kendall Kuntz – Kuntz has a 3.17 goals against average and .582 save percentage
in 16 starts this season in her first action as the full-time starter.
Boston University midfielder Ellie Landsman – Landsman has started all 17 games for the Terriers in
2016, giving her 72 starts over the course of her four-year career at BU.
Northwestern midfielder Dominique Masters – An NFHCA All-West Region selection in each of the past
two seasons, Masters has recorded 11 goals and eight assists in 2016.
Penn forward/midfielder Elise Tilton – Tilton has played in every game over the course of her career at
Penn, with eight goals and an assist as a senior in 2016.
Delaware forward Meghan Winesett – Despite missing eight contests, Winesett has put up six goals and
three assists in 2016 as she concludes an outstanding career at Delaware.
Hofstra midfielder/defender Carissa Witmer – Witmer has started every game in her career for the
Pride, and has enjoyed her best offensive season as a senior with seven goals and four assists.
