Who are we?
Soccer's For Everyone Ltd (SFE) is an Oklahoma nonprofit that sets out to provide opportunities to
physically and mentally disabled kids to play soccer. We work closely with local soccer clubs and
public school districts to offer weekly soccer practices and games free of charge to families.
How does it work?
As a Buddy, you will select a player profile including a brief introduction and description of your
player with a picture. That player will be your Buddy for the entirety of the season during which you
will accompany him/her throughout practices and games. Orientation will be scheduled for early
March during which you will meet and present a soccer ball to your Buddy and his/her family.
Practices will be held on Sundays from 5 PM to 6 PM starting on March 23 at the Norman Youth
Soccer Association fields located at 1001 East Robinson Street, Norman OK 73071. On Game Days,
small sided matches (3v3, 4v4) will last until 6:30. The Spring 2014 season will end after 7-8 weeks
on May 4, on which there will be an awards ceremony.
What will I need?
SFE strives to provide this program free of charge to volunteers. As such, we will provide an SFE
jersey to Buddies who have committed to help for the entire season. All you will need are tennis
shoes, dedication of time, and enough research regarding your Buddy’s disability needs.
For more information on our program, visit our website at www.oksfe.org where you can find
a detailed calendar, the latest updates, and a brief Buddy Registration web form under the Get
Involved page for interested volunteers. Thank you for your interest and support!
