Dear Competitor,
Please find below important information for the Cobh Triathlon (Sprint
& Standard). You require a one day licence, annual Triathlon
Ireland membership OR an International Racing License from
an ITU affiliated body to compete in this event.
If you hold an International Racing License please see the
heading“International Racing License”.
If you are a Triathlon Ireland annual member please see the
heading “Triathlon Ireland Members”.
If you are not a Triathlon Ireland annual member please see the
heading “Non Triathlon Ireland Member”.
If you are a relay team see the heading “Relay Teams”.
International Racing License
If you hold an International Racing License your license may be
used at Triathlon Ireland sanctioning events, providing the
organisation you are a valid member of is affiliated with the
ITU. If you do not have your physical membership card at
registration, along with a valid form of identification you
WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RACE as you will not be
covered by insurance.

Triathlon Ireland Members
All competitors must show their TI membership card at race
registration.
If you have applied for TI membership and have not yet
received your membership card please contact our office (01
274 1032), by 5pm on Monday 1st September, so that we can
arrange to have a card sent to you.
If you do not have your physical membership card at
registration, you WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RACE as
you will not be covered by insurance. This card is blue in
colour.
Note: Print out of your TI membership confirmation will NOT be
accepted at registration, you must have your blue card.

Non Triathlon Ireland Member
All competitors must show a print out of their One Day Licence
Confirmation at race registration.
If you have not yet purchased your One Day Licence, this must
be done through the Triathlon Ireland website. This must be
purchased by midnight the Thursday prior to the event.
Any competitor who cannot show their One Day Licence at
registration, will not be allowed to race as they will not be
covered by insurance.

Please be advised that limited odls can be purchased on the day
of the event for aquathlons, duathlons and children’s events,
however we do advise purchasing them prior to the event to save
time at registration.
Relay Teams
Please be advised that relay teams require one valid 2014 full,
junior or student membership OR one x one day license for the
team. Those with associate membership accounts will require a
one day license. Participants are not required to have a
membership card or odl each.
The membership or one day licence must be in the name of a
registered team member.
