Principal, HODs with the winners of Yuvarang-15
Students of Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Research, Nagpur brought laurels to
the college by securing 1st runner-up position in recently held Yuvarang-15, the Inter-Collegiate
Cultural Youth Festival organized by RTM Nagpur University. RGCER received awards in various
categories like debate, elocution, mimicry, dance, mono act, mime, poster making, collage, and
Rangoli. Shantanu Thengdi secured 1st position in both Mimicry and Mono Act. Akash Barwad and his
team secured 1st position in Folk Dance. Utkarsha Washimkar secured 2nd position in Lavani. Shruti
Durge also received 2nd prize in Rangoli. Akash Barwad and his team secured 2nd position in Mime.
Saket Tiwari got 3rd prize in Classical Vocal (Solo). Saurav Chatterjee secured 3rd position in
Classical Instrumental (percussion). Prasenjit Deb and Rasika Chinchole stood 3 rd in Debate
competition. Prasenjit Deb also got 3rd position in Elocution Competition. Sayali Gawande secured
3
rd
position in Poster Making Competition. Surabhi Dive got 3 rd prize in Collage Making
Competition.
In this festival, Vasantrao Naik Institute of Arts and Social Sciences, Nagpur stood 1st, RGCER stood
2nd and Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management stood 3rd in the order of merit.
Total 48 students of RGCER participated in Yuvarang-15.
