2010 NATIONAL ADMINSTRATIVE PPIORITIES FOR LEONARDO DA VINCI
PARTNERSHIPS IN THE LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAMME
(PRIORITIES USED AS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA)
BELGIUM – FLEMISH SPEAKING COMMUNITY
None
BELGIUM – FRENCH SPEAKING COMMUNITY
 A maximum of 2 BFR VET schools/organisations are eligible in the same partnership with the condition
that they have a different type of organisation If more than 2 BFR VET schools/organisations are
involved in a single partnership, the NA will go back to the applicant and let him choose which institution
should be eligible.
 Applications have to be submitted in French or English; if otherwise original version + translation into
French
BELGIUM – GERMAN SPEAKING COMMUNITY
None
BULGARIA

Only one application for LdV partnerships per institution will be accepted. If an organisation submits more
than one application, all applications submitted by that organisation will be considered not eligible

If the application is drafted in another language than Bulgarian or English, the applicant must submit both
the original application and a translation into Bulgarian.
 If the applicant is a private organisation, a brief presentation of the organisation and the legal statuses of
the organisation must be submitted in addition to the application form.
CZECH REPUBLIC



Only one application for Leonardo da Vinci Partnerships per institution (organisation) will be accepted. If
an institution (organisation) submits more than one application, all applications submitted by that
institution (organisation) will be considered ineligible. In case of universities or other higher education
institutions, each faculty is eligible to submit its own application.
Applications from institution (organisation) involved in Leonardo da Vinci Partnerships which are
currently still running (Call 2008, 2009) will be considered ineligible.
A maximum of 2 Czech institutions (organisations) are eligible in the same Leonardo da Vinci Partnership
(2 Czech partners or 1 Czech partner and 1 Czech coordinator). If more than 2 Czech institutions
(organisations) are involved in the same partnership, all Czech institutions (organisations) in that
partnership will be considered ineligible.
DENMARK
None
GERMANY
None
IRELAND
 If the Partnership language of communication in which the application is submitted is different from Irish
or English a translation in Irish or English must be submitted.
ESTONIA

Only 1 application for a Leonardo Partnership per organisation will be permissible; larger organisations
can submit 2 applications if they are dealing with different target groups or involve different departments
within the organisation. If an organisation submits more applications than the maximum allowed, the NA
will contact the applicant and let him choose which of them to put forward. If the organisation in question

fails to provide a written answer within a deadline set by the NA, all applications submitted by that
organisation will be considered ineligible.
A maximum of 2 Estonian organisations are eligible in the same partnership with the condition that they
are of different types of organisation. If more than 2 Estonian organisations or 2 organisations of the same
type are involved in a single partnership, the NA will contact the coordinator and let him choose which
institution should be eligible. If the organisation in question fails to provide a written answer within a
deadline set by the NA, all Estonian organisations in that application will be considered ineligible.
If an application submitted by an Estonian coordinator is written in a language other than English, a
translation of the application into English or Estonian must be submitted. In addition to the application
form, all applicants must submit an overview of the proposed project in Estonian.
GREECE

1. A maximum of 2 Greek VET schools/organisations are eligible in the same partnership. If more than 2
Greek VET schools/organisations are involved in a single partnership, all partners from that country will
be considered as not eligible.
 2. Only 1 application for LdV partnerships per institution will be accepted. If an institution submits more
than 1 application, all applications submitted by that institution will be considered not eligible.
 3. An already existing LdV partnership has to be formally terminated/closed before an institution can
apply for a new grant. Applications from ongoing partnerships will be considered ineligible.
 4. If the Partnership language of communication in which the application is submitted is different from
the Greek language, a translation in Greek must be submitted.
SPAIN
 A maximum of 1 Spanish organisation is eligible in the same partnership. If more than 1 Spanish
organisation are involved in a single partnership, they will be considered as not eligible.
 Only 1 application for LLP partnerships per institution will be accepted. If an institution submits more than
1 applications, all applications submitted by that institution will be considered not eligible.
FRANCE
 Only two applications for Leonardo da Vinci Partnerships per institution (organisation) will be accepted. If
an institution (organisation) submits more than two applications, all applications submitted by that
institution (organisation) will be considered ineligible.
 A maximum of 2 French institutions (organisations) are eligible in the same Leonardo da Vinci Partnership
(whatever the status is : either partner or coordinator). If more than 2 French organisations are involved in
the same partnership, all French organisations in that partnership will be considered ineligible.
ITALY
 A maximum of 1 application for LDV Multilateral Partnership per organisation independently from the
role (coordinator or partner) will be accepted. In case an organisation submits more than 1 application, all
applications submitted by that organisation will be considered not eligible.
 The application has to be submitted in English, on this version will be based the external evaluation. A
translation into Italian is also required, for dissemination actions promoted by the National Agency, in case
of selection.
 Application submitted from organization managing ongoing partnership project (both as coordinator or
partner) will be considered ineligible. This means that is ineligible the application submitted by an
organization since an already existing LDV Multilateral Partnership is not yet terminated/closed and the
Final report is not yet sent to the NA.
 A maximum of 2 Italian VET schools/organizations are eligible in the same partnership.
CYPRUS




Only one Cypriot Institution/Organisation can participate in a Partnership. If more than one Cypriot
Institutions are involved in a single partnership, all partners from Cyprus will be considered as not eligible
Only one application for partnerships per Institution/Organisation will be accepted. If an Institution
submits more than one application, the NA will let the Institution decide which application should be put
forward.
An already existing partnership has to be in the second year of its implementation before an institution can
apply for a new grant.
If the partnership language of communication, in which the application is submitted, is different from
English, a translation in Greek or English must be submitted.
LATVIA
None

LITHUANIA
 An already existing Leonardo da Vinci programme partnership has to be formally terminated/closed before
an institution can apply for a new grant. Applications from ongoing partnerships will be considered
ineligible.
 If the Partnership language of communication in which the application is submitted is different from
English a translation in Lithuanian or English must be submitted.
LUXEMBOURG

Chaque établissement / chaque institution ne pourra avoir un financement pour plus de 3 projets européens* qui se
déroulent simultanément.

MALTA




Only one application for Leonardo da Vinci Partnerships per institution will be accepted. If an institution
submits more than one application, the NA will contact the applicant and ask it to choose which
application should be put forward.
Organisations with more than 1000 learners can submit 2 applications if these deal with different target
groups.
If an application is submitted in a language that is not English, a translation of the application form into
English must be submitted.
A maximum of two Maltese organisations are eligible in the same Leonardo da Vinci Partnership. If more
than two Maltese organisations are involved in a single partnership, all Maltese partners will be considered
ineligible.
NETHERLANDS
 An organisation can apply for a maximum of 2 projects per call. In the case of more applictions, we will
ask the organisation to choose the two they want to submit.
AUSTRIA
None
POLAND
 A maximum of 2 Polish VET schools/organizations are eligible in the same partnership. If more than 2
Polish VET schools/organizations are involved in a single partnership, all partners from that country will
be considered as not eligible.
 Each Polish VET school/organization can apply for maximum 2 projects/applications for LdV Partnerships
PORTUGAL
 Only two Leonardo da Vinci Partnerships application per institution will be accepted, except in case of
“Agrupamentos de Escolas”, HEI and “umbrella institutions” that are limited per two Leonardo da Vinci
Partnerships applications per school/faculty/branch. If an institution submits more than two applications,
the NA will contact the applicant and ask it to choose which application should be put forward.
 A maximum of two schools from Portugal are eligible in the same partnership. If more than two
institutions apply in the same partnership they will all be considered ineligible.
ROMANIA
 Maximum two Romanian organizations of the same type in the same LdV Partnership project (max. 2
VET schools, 2 ONG….).
 One organization cannot implement more than two LdV Partnership projects at the same time.
SLOVENIA
 In case there are more than 2 Slovenian organizations within one LDV partnership project, the proposal/ SI
applicants will be considered as ineligible.
 In case the organisation, that is already involved in an on-going LDV partnership and applies / wants to
participate as a partner for a new partnership, it will be considered as ineligible.
 In case the same organization is involved in more than 1 LDV partnership project within the same call, the
institution will be asked to select only 1 project in which it wants to take part.

SLOVAKIA
 Only one LDV partnership application per institution will be accepted. If more than one application is
submitted by an institution (organisation) for the same target group the NA will go back to this institution
and ask which one they will submit.
 An ongoing LDV partnership has to be formally closed before an institution can apply for a new grant.
Applications from institutions with ongoing LDV partnership will be considered ineligible.
 A maximum of one institution from the Slovak Republic is eligible in the same LDV partnership. If two or
more Slovak institutions apply in the same partnership, they will all be considered ineligible..
FINLAND

A maximum of 2 (two) applications for Leonardo da Vinci partnerships per organisations will be accepted.
If an organisation submits more than two applications the National Agency will contact the applicant in
order for them to decide which applications should go forward to the eligibility check stage.
SWEDEN



Only one application per organisation will be accepted. If an organisation submits more than one
application, the NA will contact the applicant’s legal representative who may in turn choose which
application should be put forward
A maximum of two organisations from Sweden are eligible in the same partnership, provided that the
organisations represent different target groups. If more Swedish organisations apply in the same
partnership, all Swedish partners will be considered ineligible
An application with a Swedish coordinator has to be written in Swedish or English. Applications written in
other languages are considered ineligible
UK
 A maximum of two Leonardo Partnerships can be submitted per organisation. If an organisation submits
more than the maximum the National Agency will contact the applicant in order for them to decide which
applications should go forward to assessment stage.
A maximum of two UK organisations are eligible to participate in the same Partnership. Any Partnership with
more than two UK partners included in the application will be ineligible.
ICELAND
None
LIECHTENSTEIN

NORWAY

CROATIA
None
FORMER YUGOSLAV REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA

Only one application for LdV partnerships per institution will be accepted. If an institution submits more
than one application, all applications submitted by that institution will be considered not eligible.
TURKEY
 A maximum of 3 Turkish VET schools/organisations are eligible in the same partnership. If more than 3
Turkish VET schools/organisations are involved in a single partnership, all partners from Turkey will be
considered as not eligible.
 Only 1 application for LdV partnerships per institution will be accepted. If an institution submits more than
1 applications, all applications submitted by that institution will be considered not eligible
 An already existing LLP partnership has to be formally terminated/closed before an institution can apply
for a new grant. Applications from ongoing partnerships will be considered ineligible
 If the Partnership language of communication in which the application is submitted is different from
English, a translation in English must be submitted
