Game begins by placing the dodge balls (6) along the centerline. Players then take a position along their back
line. Following the signal of the official (whistle) to start the game, the teams may approach centerline to
retrieve balls. Players will be ruled out if they step over the center line.











Maximum roster of 6 players from each team will start the game
3 minute time limit on each game
If neither team has been eliminated at the end of 3 minutes, the team with the greater number of
player will be declared the winner. In case of equal number of players remaining after regulation, 1minute “sudden death” overtime will be played
Teams not allowed to cross centerline or attack line…OUT if you do
If hit by ball thrown from opponent you must leave the court immediately
If you catch a ball thrown by the opponent, they must exit the court, the thrower is OUT. A member
from the catcher’s team can come in.
You may deflect a ball thrown at you using the ball you are holding. If you drop the ball that is being
used for deflection you are OUT
Any ball after it hits any surface including body part, another ball, floor, etc., is a dead ball. The only
exception is if a ball hits opponent and is deflected upward, person hit MUST catch ball in order to get
thrower out. Only the person that deflects the ball can catch it. The ball will be considered dead if a
player catches ball deflected off another player
Officials will have final say on all plays, “outs” and time. If you argue with official your team will be
disqualified from playing.
A team may hold the ball for no longer than 10 seconds. A team member must throw the ball across
the centerline within 10 seconds

1. Understand, appreciate and abide by the rules of the game.
2. Respect the integrity and judgment of game officials and staff.
3. Respect your opponent and congratulate them in a courteous manner following each match whether
in a victory or defeat.
4. Be responsible for your actions and maintain self-control.
5. Do not taunt or bait opponents and refrain from using foul or abusive language.
