Attached is the annotated draft agenda for the 11th meeting of the Task Group Sustainable
Tourism Strategy in Bremen on 29 November 2013.
No comments were received on the proposed draft agenda.
The meeting will start at 11:00 end at about 16:00.
Meeting venue is the “Weserwehr” of the “Wasser-Schifffahrtsamt Bremen” (see travel
information).

1. Opening of the Meeting and Adoption of the Agenda
The meeting will commence at 11:00. The meeting will be invited to adopt the draft
agenda of the meeting.
2. Summary Record TG-STS 10
The meeting will be invited to approve the final draft Summary Record of TG-STS 10.
3. Announcements
The meeting will be invited to exchange information on relevant issues not covered by the
other agenda items.
4. Sustainable Tourism Strategy Project (11:30 – 13:30)
4.1. Tourism Strategy
At the WSB, Germany announced that there were some further comments to the strategy
(as communicated at TG-STS 10). Therefore, the WSB agreed that the TG-STS should
review these eventual additional comments before the WSB 10.
The meeting is invited to the review the comments on the consultation draft (English
version) by Germany and approval of the final version for delivery to the WSB.
4.2 Action Plan
The meeting is invited to approve respectively discuss the final draft of the Action Plan.
As appropriate, the meeting should agree on how to implement the Action Plan in 2014
taking into account the draft Ministerial Council Declaration 2014.
4.3 Preparation Trilateral Governmental Conference
In preparation of the ministerial conference, the WSB will consider the signing process of
the strategy in consultation with the TG-World Heritage (TG-WH, meeting on 8.11.13).
The meeting is invited to discuss the presentation of the tourism strategy and the signing
procedure.
The Wadden Sea Board (meeting on 11- 12 December) will be informed on the outcome
by the TG-STS chair accordingly.
5. Status Report PROWAD project (13:30 – 15:30)
The meeting will be informed about the activities of the PROWAD work packages and is
invited to comment respectively approve the activities (documents by PROWAD).
With regard to the preparation of the World Heritage campaign 2014 (5th anniversary WH
and inscription of the Danish part) the state parties promised their support and instructed
the TG-WH to oversee the preparation of the campaign.
6. Next Meeting

Pending the decision of the WSB, the next meeting is scheduled for mid of January 2014,
preparing the presentation of the STS (site event, signing of the strategy) at the Trilateral
Governmental Conference in Denmark (4 -6 February 2014).

The meeting will be invited to discuss any other business.
8. Closing
The meeting will be closed at 16:00 at the latest.
