your home in the Lighten Up Calgary Contest!
Lightenupcalgary.com is a website that lists where the best and brightest Christmas light displays
are in and around the city. The website features an easy to read interactive map and it is a great
way to share–and show off–your own holiday display with others.
This year, Lighten Up Calgary and the Kinsmen Club of Calgary are challenging all you
purveyors of holiday cheer to show off your stuff with the Lighten Up Calgary Contest. Enter
your light display online for a chance to win first, second or third place in one of two categories:
Animated Display and Static Display. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. Criteria for the
categories and additional information are available online. Judging will open to the public on
December 5, so if you are not entering your display make sure to cast a vote for your favourite!
Winners will be announced on December 23 at 4pm.
Whether you have a dazzling display or a family tradition of bundling up the kids to go look at
