Cedar Creek Stops SKS' 19-game Win Streak in Topeka Topeka, IN 6/7/12 Former SKS players Mark Hershberger and Justin Newcomer were near perfect on Thursday in Topeka as they helped Cedar Creek beat Street Kids Mojo 20-11 in the first game of a double header. Hershberger handcuffed the Kids (14-2 in league; 51-7 overall) from the mound and Newcomer did it with his bat as Cedar Creek stopped the SKS winning streak in Topeka at 19 straight, dating to last season. In the nightcap, Street Kids came alive and beat Cedar Creek 25-15, scoring six runs in the bottom of the fifth of a close game to win it. Carl Borkholder was the lone standout for SKS, going 6-for-7 including three straight doubles in his last three at bats of the final game. Bot Street Kids and Cedar Creek will travel to Indianapolis this weekend for the NSA B/C NIT.
