In exercise of the powers conferred by the section 3 read with sec$on I and section 355[E) of
the Karnataka Municipalities Act 1964, the 'Town Panchayat Area of T.Narasipura' mentioned in
Schedule ',4' along with boundaries mentioned in Scheduled "8" hereby declared as the "Smaller
urban Area" of T.Narasipura and further specifu such area to be the'Town Municipal Area'of
T.Na.rasipura with effect from ttre date of publishing this Notification in the Official Gazette by the
Govemor of Karnataka having regard to:

The population of such area is not less than twenty thousand and not more than ttrree
lakns:

The density of population in such area is not less than one thousand five hundred
inhabitants to one square kilometer of area;
Ttre revenue generated for local administrauon from such area from tax and non-tax
sources in the year of the last preceding census is not less than rupees nine lakhs per
annum or a sum calculated at the rate of rupees forty live per capita per annum,
whichever is higher;
iv.
The p€rcentage of employment in non-agricultural actvities is not less than fi.fty per cent
of the total emPloyment;
The notification is hereby published for the information of the persons likely to be affected
thereby and the information is hereby by given that the notification will be taken in to consideraton
after 3O days from ttre date of the publication of this notification in the official gazette.
All the persons, who likely to file any objections/suggestons to the said notiffcations are
hereby required to submit the same witll reasons therefore in writing to the Deputy Secretary-2 to
Government, Urban Development Department, No.428, 4'Floor, Vikasa Soudha, Bangalore.
