A lot of time and energy goes into planning the Year End Shows. It is our goal to make it a fun and organized experience for you and your family. Keeping this in mind, it is important that all dancers attend the
scheduled rehearsals without exception. The dates are listed in this newsletter.
Once again, we have made a quick reference calendar for you to post so that none of these important dates

10, 15, 20, 25 & 30 Year Awards
Each year we recognize dancers & staff who have been with The
Dance Factory for 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years.
According to our records, the following list of dancers will be receiving 10, 15 & 30 year awards. The awards will be presented at
the end of the 3:30pm show.

*On May 25 tickets will be available for purchase in person only at the studio.
Ticket order forms are attached as an alternative method to purchase show
tickets and to help avoid the long wait. After May 25th all tickets will be on sale
during office hours ONLY.

*Should your family have dancers appearing in different shows, a discount of 50%
will apply to tickets purchased for the second show with a limit of four tickets. The
discount will be taken off of the lowest priced show. Competition dancers do not
qualify for the ticket discount if their competition groups appear in a different shows.

V.I.P.’S (Very Important Parents)
We are in need of parents who would like to volunteer to work behind the scenes at our year end
show. Each class with young dancers MUST have a parent volunteer to stay with the class for
the duration of the show. If you would like to be a V.I.P. you would have the opportunity to watch
your child from backstage. We appreciate your help and interest in making your child’s performance on stage a memorable one. Please see sign-up sheet at the studio.
WEAR YOUR COSTUME TO CLASS
Mon. June 5 thru June 10 has been set
aside for all dancers to wear their costume
to class. It is an opportunity for the teacher
to see the dancers before they go on stage
and to make sure everyone looks the same.
Bring A Friend To Class!
May 29 thru June 3 is bring a friend to class week. If
you have a friend that would be interested in joining
you for your dance class, invite them along! Or if you
would like to try a different discipline of dance, you can
use this week to give a new class a try.


Year End videos for both shows will be professionally videotaped by Hart Video Productions. To order a
copy, please complete the attached order form and return it to the office no later than June 12.

Pre-registration forms have gone home. We encourage all students who are planning to continue dancing in
the fall to pre-register. This guarantees your dancer a place in an appropriate class for September. Return
by May 31st and you pay only $10.00 in registration fee. After May 31st registration fee is $20.00 per
dancer. Fall schedule will be posted May 26

The last day of regular classes is Monday June 12. The office closes Monday June 19 6:00PM for the summer.

Please check the Year-End Show programs posted in the lobby, to ensure your dancers name is spelled
correctly, their name has not be missed and that it is listed in the correct program. Please do so before May
15th.

LOST and FOUND items will ALL be taken to a donation center once the studio closes. Please check it
regularly for any items you may be missing from now until the end of the dance season.
