Coeur Group and Excipio Consulting partnered to complete the State of South Carolina, Disaster
Recovery Study. The study included input from Coeur and Excipio past client experiences in the public
and private sector on best practices for disaster recovery management.
Our discussion will focus on the key areas of the study which included, criticality and statutes analysis,
the current disaster recovery capabilities, GAP analysis and future potential solutions including cost
benefit financials.
In making recommendations, cloud backup technology, warm site locations (specifically including the
Clemson University Data Center in Anderson, South Carolina), and hybrid data replication and backup
solutions were considered during the study.
Mark Peterson, Managing Partner and Dan McLane, Senior Partner with Coeur Group together with Jeff
Gilmer, a Senior Partner with Excipio will discuss the recent Disaster Recovery Assessment project at the
