4-H Ambassador Program - Oklahoma 4-H

Program Objectives:

Make 4-H more visible in your
county and across the state of
Oklahoma

Maintain relations with 4-H
alumni and supporters

Help 4-H members tell the state
and national 4-H story
Support 4-H Foundation efforts
through donor and alumni calls,
letters and personal visits.
 Represent OK 4-H at events
 Promote media relations
 Advocate for the 4-H program as a
speaker or trainer








 State Judging Contests
 Macy’s Shop for a Cause
 Clover Classic Golf Tournament
Required Meetings & Trainings (Fall/Spring)
Ambassador Retreat/ Leadership Team Retreat
Committee Leadership
Having a Voice
Assisting in counties and districts as called upon


Due by March 1st to the State 4-H Office
Application form includes:
 Official application
 Essay - “What 4-H Has Done For You and How You Can
Give Back as a State Ambassador”
 Certification Form (included with application packet)
 3 Letters of Reference – from your educator, your parents,
and a non-family member

