We are delighted to announce that Andrew Rushton has joined
our Halton TT Club Coaching team
Andrew has been coaching in London for Greenhouse Sports Charity in
conjunction with the Mayor’s Fund for London.
He was previously Regional Coaching Manager East Midlands.
As a player for England Andrew won Commonwealth Silver 2006 and
2 Times Commonwealth Championships Medallist 2004 & 2009
( Also 3 Times National Men’s Singles Champion, 2 Times British Men’s Singles Champion,
3 Times Men’s Singles Grand Prix Winner)
Andrew will be involved with our Coaching team and Halton Existing
Tuesday night squad 6-8.30pm Afterwards and on Thursday evenings
Andrew will be available to do 1-1 sessions from 7pm which should be
booked directly with him; or if a few players get together to share a session.
He will be self employed and will need to be paid at the time. Nightly fees
still have to be paid to Halton and players need to be members of Halton.
Other sessions will be as announced when Andrew is on site.

Summer coaching and fitness daytime sessions
In conjunction with Halton Stadium sessions with Andrew and a fitness coach will take
place as follows first 2 weeks of August:Monday 5 and 12 th, Wednesday 7th and 14th and Friday 9th and 16th all 10 am -2pm
Cost is £5 per session Payment books a place. You can select which days or attend all.
Andrew may also be available to do 1-1 after the sessions.

National Cadet and National Junior League 2013-14
We are now starting to put together players for the matches next season.
Dates for Cadet League are Sundays 13/10; 8/12; 2/2; 23/3 Under 15 on 1/1/14
Dates for Junior League are Saturdays 16/11; 7/12; 25/1;29/3 Under 18 on 1/1/14
Cost is £3:50 a session. Players need to renew their club membership and ETTA
membership. Halton junior players who were new to the club last season had their
membership paid for the first season by the club. You should receive a renewal direct
from the ETTA shortly. Please let us know if you wish to be in a team as we need to pay
for the teams to enter shortly. All Halton Club players must wear a Halton shirt when
playing in all ETTA events. These can be ordered and are still subsidized at £22 each.

SPORT AND RECREATION ALLIANCE AWARDS
Community Sport and Recreation Awards.
The club was awarded the School Links Award at St Jame’s Palace, London
The award was presented to the club chairman Karen Tonge MBE by
HRH The Earl of Wessex .Frank James Community Coach was in attendance
Thanks are due to Halton Borough Council and all the schools we have been involved with
since 1999 when the TT Centre opened.
