About Rinceoirí Rinceoirí Irish Dance Group is the oldest Irish dance club in the Czech Republic. Since its beginning in 1997, the group has performed in the Czech Republic and abroad in theatres, at festivals and other cultural events. It has shown its choreographies at many famous places as, for example, Prague Congress Centre, Tesla Arena Prague (celebrating ten years of Irish dance in the Czech Republic) or the crowded Trafalgar Square in London (during celebrations of St. Patrick´s Day). Performing in a TV talent show, Rinceoirí managed to make it to the finals in 2010. In the same year, Rinceoirí became the winner of the Dance Group Of the Year competition in the category “folk dance”. In March 2014, the group was awarded the CIBCA Cultural Oscar for spreading the Irish culture in the Czech Republic. Since the opening night in autumn 2013, Rinceoirí has been running its second show called 7 Reasons to Dance. Its modern Irish dance choreographies and the rhythmical beats performed by dozens of feet enthral spectators all over the Czech Republic. The Rinceoirí dancers often place among the best in international competitions. Having successfully qualified, they participated in the World Championship in London in both team and solo dances in 2014. Rinceoirí runs a school of Irish dance called Rinceoirí Irish Dance Academy in Prague. Its courses are intended for both children and adults of all ages interested in Irish dance. In classes of various levels there are about 100 dancers. Currently, there are two fullyqualified instructors teaching in the school together with other experienced Rinceoirí teachers.
