University of Indianapolis Professional Edge Center Field Goal Kick

University of Indianapolis
Professional Edge Center Field Goal Kick Contest
1. CONTEST DESCRIPTION: The Professional Edge Center Field Goal Kick Contest (the
“Contest”) is available to full-time University of Indianapolis undergraduate students who attend
Professional Edge Center Events. At each Professional Edge Center Activity, students will be
asked to register their attendance either before or after the activity. At the October 25, 2014,
UIndy football game, the President of the University of Indianapolis will select those who will
participate in the Contest via random drawing from all those who registered their attendance at
Professional Edge Center activities. During a game break on October 25, 2014, one female will
be selected by a random drawing and one male will be selected by a random drawing. Alternate
male and/or female students will be selected by random drawing should either of the originally
selected students be found to be ineligible. Each selected student will have an opportunity
to make a field goal kick at the October 30, 2014, UIndy football game for a chance to win
University of Indianapolis tuition for one-semester, as fully detailed below. Each eligible person
(a “Participant”) unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official
Rules and the decisions of the Contest, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
2. ELIGIBILITY:
The following students are ineligible to participate:
All official UIndy student athletes.
All graduate students
Employees, officers and directors of UIndy and their immediate families (parents, children,
siblings, and spouse) and members of their household (whether or not related) involved in any
aspect with the creation, production, operation, execution and fulfillment of the drawing are not
eligible to win.
Only full time undergraduate students enrolled during the semester of the event may enter the
drawing.
3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
University of Indianapolis undergraduate students become eligible for the Contest by
participating in Professional Edge Center events listed on the Professional Edge Center website.
The more Professional Edge Center events attended, the more times they are entered. Each event
attended counts as one entry into the contest.
Students participating in events up through and including the day of October 23, 2014, will be
eligible to enter the drawing.
Students’ attendance will be logged by Professional Edge Center staff by (at a minimum)
verifying their first and last name as well as their University of Indianapolis identification
number upon their entry into a Professional Edge Center event. If a student fails to check in
for an event, they will forfeit their entry for that event. Adding in entries outside of the process
stated above will not be permitted. Seating and space at Professional Edge Center events is
limited. Therefore, attendance is on a first come first served basis and students are not guaranteed
admission into any of the Professional Edge Center events. The University of Indianapolis is not
liable for students who cannot gain admission to an event due to the event being closed reaching
capacity.
The Professional Edge Center team will keep a master list of events and recorded attendance
using the above system. This list will be the sole source of entries from which the names of two
University of Indianapolis students (one male and one female) will be drawn during the October
25, 2014, football game. After verification of eligibility is conducted by the financial aid office,
this list will be the final determination in which students are eligible and how many entries they
have received in order to be considered in the random drawing on October 25, 2014.
4. RANDOM DRAWING: One Participant of each gender will be selected for the opportunity
to successfully kick a field goal. There is no guarantee of being selected for the opportunity to
kick.
5. PARTICIPANT SELECTION: At the October 25, 2014, UIndy football game, the President
of the University of Indianapolis will select, via a random drawing from all those who registered
their attendance at Professional Edge Center events, two Participants who will participate in
the Contest. Alternate female and/or male participants (the “Alternate Participants”) will be
chosen by random drawing in the event one or more of the selected Participants are found to
be ineligible to participate. The students must be present during the October 25, 2014, game to
acknowledge their participation in the field goal kick. In extenuating circumstances as determined
by University of Indianapolis Administration the selected participant will have 24 hours to
claim their prize after which time their selection will be forfeited. The Participants and Alternate
Participants will be asked a number of questions to help verify their eligibility to continue as
Participants/Alternate Participants and will also be required to complete and return an affidavit of
eligibility, release of liability, and a publicity release.
6. PRIZE DETAILS/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE: The Participants who successfully
kick a field goal (the “Winner(s)”) will receive a one semester full tuition waiver. If the

Pell Grant or other federal gift aid programs. The cost of textbooks and room and board is not
included.
7. PRIZE KICK CONDITIONS: Participants will be allowed one attempt to kick a standard
35 yard field goal with a regulation sized football. No part of the contestant’s body or clothing
