dward Turzanski is the John Templeton Fellow of the Foreign Policy Research Institute, where
he is also Co-Chairman of the Center for the Study of Terrorism. He is Scholar-in-Residence at
the World Affairs Council (where he serves on the Board of Directors), and a Senior Fellow with
Franklin’s Opus at the American Institute for History Education. Turzanski is a “Life Member” of the
Association of Former Intelligence Officers, having served with the U.S. Intelligence Community during
the Reagan Administration with postings throughout the Middle East, Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
During the George W. Bush Administration, he served on the U.S. Department of Justice’s Anti-Terrorism
Advisory Committee (ATAC) for the Third District, and the Department of Homeland Security’s Port
Security Committee for Philadelphia.
