SHOW JUMPING and DRESSAGE TRAINING
Show Jumping and Dressage Training evenings will begin during the Easter Holidays. The first dressage will
be on Tuesday 12th April and Show Jumping on Thursday 14th. These trainings evenings will continue every
week until camp. These rallies are open to all members who wish to improve in these disciplines. Please tick
Rally Reply Slip and give the earliest time your child can attend the rally. Also please note, that these rallies are
to be paid for on the night and by CHEQUE ONLY.

JUNIOR CAMP RALLIES
There will be 4 evening rallies to help prepare junior members for the summer camp. These will be held on
Friday evenings; 6th May, 20th May, 10th June and 24th June. Members must attend 3 of these rallies if they
wish to come to camp. This is in order to help our coaches group riders correctly at the start of camp. The
rallies will be held in the Pony Club field from 5.30pm to 6.45 Cost - £8 per evening Organiser
POLO
Please note that all riders at Jorrocks and Handley Cross level MUST attend a minimum of 3 non polo rallies
before being considered for a team.
Summer Friday evening Polo training will resume at Los Poteros, Burley Road, Langham on Friday 22nd
April at 6pm prompt. These training sessions are open to any Pony Club member who wishes to have a go at
Polo as well as experienced players. There will be seperate groups for beginners an experienced players. Cost £5 on the night, please remember to pay by CHEQUE. Organiser Anna Hunt 07984 696083
ACHIEVEMENT BADGES
Any member who has 20 Achievement Badges or 14 Mini Achievement Badges is eligible for a Gold Badge.
So do let us know if we have missed noting that you have done them all! The Blue Cross Equine Welfare Merit
is awarded to any member who has 10 welfare related badges; Bandaging & Rugs, Care of the Horse’s Foot,
Feeding, First Aid (Equine), Handling & Grooming, Lorinary, Mucking Out, Perfect Paddock, Saddlery,
Shoeing.
C+ TEST
Members wishing to take this test, please contact Jo Holmes Cole: 07758 295463 asap to arrange training. If we
do not have enough members to run a test, we will arrange for you to take the test with a neighbouring club.
B & AH TESTS
Any member wishing to take B Test please contact Elspeth Watson as soon as possibe. As Elspeth does such a
good job of preparing candidates for tests a number of members from other clubs also wish to train with her and
spaces may well become limited. AH training has been in place for a number of months. Please contact Elspeth

RIDING & ROAD SAFETY
After taking Mini Road Rider and Road Rider Badge. The Riding and Road Safety Test may be taken when
members have reached 12yrs of age. The Riding & Road Safety Test is a compulsory test before taking
C+. Anyone wishing to take this test please tick RRS and training and test days will be organised
