LONGFELLOW STUDENTS TO PLAY WHEELCHAIR SOCCER GAME
Students wanted to know more about a fellow classmate who uses a wheelchair for mobility. Their desire to
know more has blossomed into a class game of wheelchair soccer.

In an effort to get to know a classmate who uses a wheelchair for mobility and his activities, students in Mr.
Patrick Metzger’s fifth grade class at Longfellow Elementary School in combination with Ms. Lori Kava’s
multiple-impairment class will play a game of wheelchair soccer on Tuesday, October 18 at 2:00 p.m.
Wheelchairs for the activity will be supplied through Hope, Inc. The student participates in wheelchair soccer
through Hope, Inc.
