Manchester Get into Football Fund

These are our football priorities in the city of Manchester, however ‘other’ projects
will be considered if they can demonstrate that participation can be raised as a
direct result for players aged 16 and above. Applications to maintain already
established teams / clubs will not be considered, although the setup of new teams /
clubs will. Please note both Manchester FA and Manchester City Council will
actively work in partnership with successful bids / organisations to bring the projects
to fruition.

Increase the number of Manchester residents who are members of a football clubs
Increase regular participation in football for people aged 16 and above
Develop new football team / club for players aged 16 and above
Improve the quality of existing football clubs in Manchester.
Develop new teams for players aged 16 and above within existing football clubs.
Prevent the drop-out rate in football among players aged 16 and over
Engage with priority groups e.g. people from areas of socio – economic deprivation, people
on low incomes and Black and Minority Ethnic Groups (BME)
