Lottery Terms and Conditions:
These terms and conditions apply to the Direct Marketing Postal Raffle sent to supporters in
Spring and Autumn of each year.

Terms and Conditions: Participation in this lottery costs £1 per lottery ticket. There are no
restrictions to the number of entries one person can make. Payment for participation in the
lottery can be made by cheque payable to Sense, credit/debit card or cash. Lottery tickets will
be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.
Sense cannot accept CAF payments for raffle tickets and all CAF payments will be treated as
donations.
Sense Direct Marketing Raffles are open to residents of mainland Great Britain only (this
excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands) except agencies and other
companies having any connection with the production of the lottery, as well as relatives of
such persons. Employees of Sense are ineligible to enter this lottery. Any tickets bought in the
name of Sense employees will be rejected from the draw and considered as donations to
Sense.
The First prize is £4,000 cash. Second prize is £1,000 cash. Third prize is £500 cash. Fourth
prize is £100 cash. There are 10 runner up prizes of £50 cash.
The closing date and prize draw date for each raffle draw will be printed on the tickets and in
the letters for each pack. The prize winners will be randomly selected in an independently
supervised draw held at a third party’s premises on the draw date.
Tickets are not for sale to or by anyone under 16 years of age. Any tickets bought by under
16 year olds will be rejected from the drawn and the money returned to them.
Any money received after the closing date will be treated as a donation and won’t be entered
into the draw.

Sense accepts no responsibility for lottery tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible, or from
which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may
cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted. No responsibility is taken for lottery tickets
and payment lost, delayed, or damaged in the post and proof of posting will not be accepted
as proof of receipt. Sense accepts no responsibility if chosen method of payment is cancelled
in error.
Winners will be notified by post or telephone no later than 3 weeks after the draw date.
Winners’ names will be published on our website at www.sense.org.uk/raffle within 1 day of
the draw taking place. Please keep the ticket as proof of purchase. Where Sense is unable to
contact a prize-winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for 2 months following Sense’s first
attempt to notify the prize-winner, Sense will return the funds to our raffle fund. Sense
reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion. The result of the lottery
draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
