Assessment
• Ongoing daily assessment against lesson
objectives and individual targets.
• Continuous assessment against end of year
objectives from new 2014 Curriculum.
• Termly assessment week for maths,
reading and writing.
• In June the children will participate in the
Phonics Screening Check.
Homework
• In Autumn 2 the children will receive
phonics homework each week. This will
focus on the sounds we have covered that
week.
• We ask that children read every night
with an adult.
• We ask that children practise the literacy
and numeracy areas of focus outlined in
the termly newsletter.
• Spellings to be learnt throughout the year
from the Spelling folder given out at
the start of term.
