Students will receive a poster board to design a game pattern with 25 spaces. The games will
have a start and a finish space. The game board is to be in color and drawn with marker. They
are to work on this project in groups of 3 or 4.
Students will cut out the Career Cluster Card Game template. As a group students are to come
up with 10 additional career cluster questions and answers.
Students will come up with their own objects to use as game pieces and come up with a section
on the game board to put the career cluster game cards.
Students will come up with their game card questions from the SDMyLife and/or
healthedventure.org (Career Tab) websites.
Students may use Skittles as tokens for getting questions right and put tokens back if they get
the questions wrong. The game ends when each person has crossed the finish line. The student
with the most tokens at the end of the game wins. To move on the game board students will
roll a dice.
The student groups will play their game and then exchange with another group.
