Special Request
Thanks to a donation with matching Thrivent
funds we have almost enough money to purchase
an outdoor storage unit for storing playground
equipment. We are about $80 short. If anyone
would like to donate money towards this project it
would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be
made at the school office or by contacting Mrs.
Kionka.
Morning School Hours
It is our policy that school is not open to
students until 7:30 am. When the weather is cold,
children may sit in the entryway but should not
enter school until told to. Lately we have been
having trouble with students entering school before
7:30. Teachers and staff use this time in the
morning for preparation. Thank you.
Thank you!
Thank you again to the Thrams family for their
donation of numerous books to our library and
classrooms.
Jr. Choir
Jr. Choir will be singing for the Ash
Wednesday service on February 25th. Everyone
should meet in the church basement by 6:40 for

Preschool News
7th & 8th Grade News
Pajamas in school! What a crazy week! We
went right along with craziness by having an indoor
snowball fight (toilet paper) and playing a silly
listening game. Spirit week has been lots of fun.
The students are starting to gather their
information for their Lincoln papers. There is so
much out there for them to find… Please return
your Prep musical return sheets soon; we do have
enough drivers but anyone can still come along…
Please see the Bucks game information with this
gazette; 7-8 grades and their parents are welcome.
Kindergarten News
Look out! There goes a super hero! Now I
see some pajama children. We had a fun week
dressing up to show our spirit!
We also learned about teeth this week. We
watched an egg turn brown in soda and brushed it.
Then we put an egg in vinegar and watched it get
soft like the enamel of our teeth when we get a
cavity.
Stop in our room and see our landscape
mural. It’s awesome!

PTO Meeting
1st & 2nd Grade News
How do animals and children, survive in the
winter? The 1st & 2nd graders are writing, producing
and performing a play called “Animals in Winter”
that will answer that question. Everyone is invited
to their play on Thursday, February 26th at 2:00 in
our classroom.
3rd & 4th Grade News
What would you think of Christmas in
February? Well, third & fourth graders are
experiencing just that. Thanks to our benevolent
benefactors, the Thrams Family, our whole class
has a copy of The Chronicles of Narnia The Lion,
the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. These
books are a great addition to our class library. With
these books we were also given the DVD. We’ll
view the DVD after we finish reading the book.
Thanks again for these generous gifts!
Everyone is invited to attend our PTO
meeting on Monday, February 23rd at 7:00 pm. An
agenda of this meeting is attached to this gazette.
As parents of children at St. Paul’s you are all
members of the PTO and are encouraged to
attend. We will be discussing the future of our PTO
and your input is greatly appreciated. See you
there!
