Ringette Provincial Championships
Team Staff Eligibility
The Team/Coach Sign-in is the responsibility of the Ringette Alberta Representative and
the Provincial Championship Host Committee. It must be completed at the Coaches Meeting or
prior to each team’s first game.
All team staff members must fill in and sign the form. Individuals not appearing on the
roster and corresponding sign in sheet are INELIGIBLE and may not be on the player’s bench
during the entire Provincial Championship. All members of the team staff must sign-in to be
eligible to be on the player’s bench during games.
Notes:
 Team staff members must sign-in for themselves; other team staff members cannot sign for
them.
 Team staff members must show picture identification (i.e. driver’s license).
 There shall be no less than 2 team staff registered per team and on the players’ bench for
each and every game. There is a minimum and maximum of one Head Coach and a
maximum of one Manager and one Trainer per team.
 All teams may list on their rosters an unlimited number of qualified team staff however
only 5 team staff may be on the bench on a game by game basis.
 The Head Coach must be on the players’ bench for each and every game.
 All teams excluding Adult Ringette (18+ A, B and C), require one female head or assistant
coach on the bench (see attached Female Coach on the bench policy)
 For 18+ A and B - a second team staff member (Assistant Coach, Manager or Trainer) may
be listed both as a player and as team staff.
