Following this guide are calendars with physical activity opportunities lead by local certified fitness
instructors and community members! Please use this guide for further information on events listed
on the calendar. All of these events can count as points you are looking to collect for daily physical
activity throughout the challenge.
PLEASE know that you can be doing your own group physical activity of your choice outside of these
to earn points as well!

Berkshire Family YMCA (Pittsfield Branch) Fitness Classes Punch Card
The first 200 registered Mayor’s Fitness Challenge Participants will receive a punch card for the Berkshire
Family YMCA (Pittsfield Branch) that will be valid for 10 free visits including classes of your choosing
throughout the challenge ($100 value). There are several classes to choose from each week!
Mondays – Low Intensity Cardio w/Weights at 3:00 pm
Tuesdays – Kettlebell/Stretch at 6:00 am
Wednesdays – Bootcamp at 12:30 pm & Yoga at 6:30 pm
Thursdays – Zumba at 6:30 pm
Fridays – Insanity at 12:30 pm
Saturday - Tabata at 8:00 am

This 13.1 mile run begins at the Berkshire Mall in Lanesboro, Rt. 8 and finishes at the Visitor Center in
Adams
Race start time will be 9:30 AM - LIMITED TO FIRST 750 registered runners

Come join us for a leisurely, scenic bike ride from the Controy Pavilion to Pittsfield State Forest and back
along the same roads; just under 6 miles round trip! Free & kid friendly! Police escort to be provided. On
site bike maintenance to be provided by Berkshire Bike and Board
New - obstacle course & bike limbo before and after the ride!
