The Ray Hall Experience
Experience the top-level coaching that developed international players like
Wayne Rooney, Jack Rodwell, Leon Osman and a host of pros playing in
the English Premier League and other European leagues. Be instructed and
evaluated by Ray Hall, Director of Everton F.C. Academy for over 20 years,
along with his elite group of English Premier level coaches and scouts.
The Ray Hall Experience allows US soccer players to get a unique opportunity to realize what PREMIER CLUBS
in Europe are looking for from potential recruits. Players will experience the philosophy of EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB – “NOTHING BUT THE BEST IS GOOD ENOUGH”. Ray Hall has worked towards this philosophy
for over 20 years, ensuring that the Everton Youth Academy remained one of the most successful in Europe.

During The Ray Hall Experience, top level coaches/assessors/pro players will deliver a program of intense
training in tactical, technical and mental aspects of the game. We are confident this training will improve each
player’s performance and contribution levels 15% - 20%. Each player will be mentally and physically challenged in
all aspects of the game for up to 8 hours a day for 4 days.
Head Coach, Johneen Black will be focussing on the Barcelona system; playing
‘in pockets’, ‘protecting the ball’ and creating opportunities in the last third.
In addition, your game will be measured by someone who has been part of a successful professional development structure, Ray Hall. He will benchmark each
player’s performance levels against those required to progress to the very
top level. Premier League Scouts/Recruits will be giving the same full individual assessment as they would for the Premier Club’s
Youth Academy.

Ray Hall – “For 20 years as the EVERTON YOUTH
ACADEMY DIRECTOR, I led a team of over 30
experienced and highly qualified staff, dedicated to
the development of ELITE
young soccer players. Many
graduates from the Academy
have become STARS in the
English Premier League as well
as other top European leagues,
with perhaps the most notable
being WAYNE ROONEY who I
watched, like many others,
develop through our Academy
System to EVERTON F.C. FIRST TEAM at age 16 and
onto the Full England team at 17 years of age .”
Head Coach - Johneen Black
The 57 year old ‘A’ Licensed coach is the only person
to have been a Player, First Team Coach, Manager
and Chairman of an Irish Premier League Club. He
was also Head Coach of a Youth Structure capable of
transferring 2 to 3 players per
year to full-time professional
clubs, creating unique practices incorporating high-level
movement strategies and a
‘Whole Team’/’Whole Club’
total footballing philosophy.
Johneen currently coaches an
elite group of youth prospects
in Ireland on behalf of
CHELSEA F.C. as part of their academy program to
ensure prospective pros from Ireland develop in
parallel with their UK counterparts.
