The Process – World Café World Café conversations are intentional ways to create a living network of conversations around questions that matter. A Café conversation is a creative process for leading collaborative dialogue, sharing knowledge, and creating possibilities for action in groups of all sizes. The Process – World Café The World Café was born out of local conversations held with diverse groups from around the world; the ideas behind it tested and adapted until Juanita Brown collated the work during her doctoral studies, which culminated in her seminal dissertation published in 2001, The World Café: Living Knowledge through Conversations that Matter www.theworldcafe.com The Process - World Café: 1. Identify a volunteer to be the host. 2. Discuss the café question for 10-15 minutes. • Be creative! Feel free to use words, pictures, graphs, and diagrams to record thoughts.
