The Information Day on 28th January can assist in this, however ALL PLAYERS (or their family) must complete the online form, No paper applications are able to be accepted. Registration Payments are also made online (credit card only). (Registrations received after 12:00pm Tuesday, 31st January 2017 will only be accepted if there is space available. No refunds are available once a player is registered with Manly Warringah Netball Assoc (MWNA) unless a medical certificate is provided and no competition games played.) Refunds, requested after registrations but before teams have been forwarded to Manly Warringah Netball Assoc. (MWNA), will incur a $50 reduction to cover Club administration costs. SENIOR TEAMS Seniors will have to register individually but team captain can email the team to: [email protected] PHOTOS MWNA is introducing a new credit card sized player card for the 2017 season. Signatures will NOT be required on these cards but players will need to sign the scoresheets for each game and sign a master sheet on game 1. Requirements: All 10 yr – Seniors will need to upload a photo at time of registration, otherwise registration is incomplete. So all 10yr and up to send a photo electronically with their id number included (MUST be included) to [email protected] (unfortunately they cannot attach the file directly to their MyNetball rego within MyNetball at this stage). Any photos that are not good enough will be rejected. The images do need to meet the following criteria and facebook selfies are simply not acceptable. These images need to be in the following format: 1.25”– 3.175cm Square File Name File name MUST be the players MyNetball number File Type File need be in a JPEG file format Photo Size Square aspect ratio 1.25” (3.175 cm) square Photo The photo must be a current colour photo 600 dpi Background White or light colour background (nothing else in background of photo) Photo Neck and face – looking directly at the camera FOREST CLUB GRADING Please refer to the Forest Club website for Grading Guidelines Attendance at all grading sessions is compulsory. 15 to 17yrs will attend physical grading if required. See dates below (to be confirmed). Players will be notified if grading is required. Individual seniors will be paper graded. Participation in grading assumes an understanding and acceptance of the Grading Guidelines. Forest Netball does provide assistance and we offer lots of support to new and existing coaches. This is a great way to be an active part of your daughter’s netball experience. We have had some of our experienced coaches require recently and do require more coaches in 2017. Compulsory for all 10 year teams at Melwood Avenue courts. MANLY WARRINGAH 10 YEAR TEAMS GRADING DAY All 10 yr teams are required to attend a grading day on Saturday 18th March 2017 commencing at 9:00am at Curl Curl netball courts, Abbott Rd North Curl Curl. Forest uniform required. PENINSULA GALA DAY All 10 yr and 11 yr teams are to attend the Gala Day on Saturday 25th March 2017 first game at 9.00 am at Curl Curl netball courts, Abbott Rd, North Curl Curl. Forest uniform required. TRAINING DAYS Coaches will liaise with players on “Meet the Coaches” day with regard to your training day. Sometimes individual activities may need to be reorganised. Regular attendance at training is expected as part of your club & team membership commitment. NET SET GO Net Set Go is a Netball skills program for players turning 6 & 7 in 2017. The program will be held at the Melwood courts and will commence at the start of the second school term running for 8 weeks. Dates and times are to be advised. Please note this email will be used publicly within the Club for communication purposes and also passed onto Manly Warringah Netball Association as part of their requested player information. Teams and/or parents will be rostered throughout the season to meet the Club’s requirements to the (MWNA) Canteen & Control Room duty rosters. FOREST NETBALL CLUB - CODE OF CONDUCT & RULES All Forest Netball Club Members must agree to abide by the following Code of Conduct & Rules: Once registered, players are committed to the full season. Players may only withdraw for medical or family reasons. Team placements are final once teams are selected. Players are expected to attend all training sessions for the full time allocated. Players are to make sure they take responsibility for their equipment and uniform items. Players are expected to attend all matches. Players are to be in full Forest uniform for all competition matches. Players and parents are to respect their coaches, who generously give up their time on a voluntary basis. Players and parents are to display good sportsmanship at all times. Players and/or parents must fulfill any duties required of the team throughout the season. These may include Club umpiring, MWNA canteen duty or control room duty when rostered. Players and parents must abide by the Code of Conduct set down by Netball Australia.
