Consistently multifaceted
The design objectives for contemporary task luminaires are to maximise all
the following: investment profitability, cost-effectiveness in use, light output
ratios, contribution towards meeting green building and sustainability requirements, flexibility in terms of functional layout and unobtrusiveness in
the room. The luminaire’s subtly rounded vertical edges contrast with the
sharp-edged precision of its horizontal edges; the white coloured housing
suggests the desire to dematerialise functions and dissolve the boundaries
between space and the luminaire’s technical functional components.

Darklight louvre
Darklight An extra wide light distribution curve ensures maximum efficiency and optimum lighting quality.
Work surfaces are uniformly brightened without any
losses. Wide-angle light distribution provides vertical
illuminance to ensure bright walls and an agreeable
room ambience. The pendant luminaire with a louvre
optic only needs 1.95 to 2.5 W to illuminate one square
metre at 100 lux, depending on the lamp fitted.

Matt louvre
Matt louvre In terms of efficiency and lighting quality,
the matt louvre is on a par with the Darklight version:
Via extra wide-angle distribution of both indirect and
direct light, the ceilings are illuminated uniformly and
the walls are brightened up, creating an extra agreeable
room ambience. Due to the matt reflector material, the
light becomes more visible and the luminaire, too, looks
pleasantly bright.

LRO ELEEA’s Luminance Reducing Optic (LRO)
allows additional freedom of action. Because there are
no harsh shadows on work surfaces or reflections on

sources which can be switched and dimmed independently of each other. LEDs illuminate ceilings and walls
indirectly while fluorescent lamps exploit their ability
to deliver powerful direct light to full effect. Each user
can choose the exact proportions of direct and indirect

Wallwasher The plain and unobtrusive ELEEA wallwasher performs its function, i.e. the illumination of
blackboards in a way that improves vision and enhances
concentration for learning. All details of the wallwasher
optic comply with the high blackboard lighting requirements; the vertical surfaces are illuminated in conformity with applicable standards and, above all, uniformly.

ELEEA is a straight-line design element with a bright colour scheme and
stylistic idiom, it blends seamlessly into modern architecture. Both joints
and connectors are white in colour. The H-connector acts as a link and
also fits harmoniously into the overall appearance; it masterfully merges
two luminaire units into a single straight continuous-row system and
maximises the available light exit surface area.

Round the corner
The interior design possibilities opened up by ELEEA are just as varied as
the luminaire’s geometrical configurations. The 90° connector enables
exciting configurations that include gentle swerves around corners. Various shapes can be achieved successfully using the elegant L-connector
which makes connections using just a narrow bridge.

Ceiling design
Ceiling rose If design extends beyond the luminaire, even the ceiling rose becomes a stylistic element. The ceiling rose which was specially developed for ELEEA is a functional detail that reflects a consistently
designed luminaire product line. It uses the same design vocabulary
and combines it with a high level of functionality. Beautifully simple and
simply beautiful.

Louvre technology The extremely flat louvre is designed as a two-piece
component, i.e. the upper part of the louvre (upper reflector) is separate
from the louvre. Slender blades ensure high efficiency and an elegant
appearance. The high-grade louvre material (highly reflective Miro) is folded
over on the visible side to complete the modern look.
Close-offset ceiling brightening ELEEA achieves this feat thanks
to an innovative patented upper-reflector and cross-reflector system.
The perforated upper reflector directs 25 % of the light onto the ceiling.
The cross reflector makes sure that ceiling illumination is wide-area and
homogeneous, even with extremely shallow suspension heights.

Suspension height can be reduced to just 15 cm
Cord suspension The tried-and-tested Y-suspension fitting used in
ELEEA is a practical installation element and also levels the luminaire
accurately. The adjustable Ypsilon fitting is built into the luminaire’s end
cap. There is also a single extra-slender steel cord which adds a perfect
flourish to ELEEA’s elegant appearance.
A minimum cord length of 15 cm is sufficient to obtain uniform indirect
ceiling brightening. The perforated upper reflector allows light reduction
in order to obtain 25/75 distribution. The cross reflector directs indirect
light to provide an extremely wide-angle distribution so that homogeneous
illumination is possible even with extremely shallow suspension heights.

ELEEA combines the energy advantages of a direct luminaire (good
energy efficiency) with the attractive features of an indirect luminaire
(harmonious brightness distribution on ceilings and walls). The luminaire’s extremely wide-angle light distribution ensures high levels of
uniformity and vertical illuminances produce an agreeable ambience.
ELEEA lighting installations achieve extremely high lighting quality
even with very small installed loads. With efficiency better than
2 W/m²/100 lx, ELEEA is a modern, contemporary direct/indirect lighting
