Gambling (the love of money) brings “many

Gluttony brings poverty (Proverbs 23:20-21;

Sexual Immorality brings misery, death and God’s
judgment (Proverbs 7:21-27; Hebrews 13:4)
Easy Credit brings poverty (Proverbs 22:26-27)
Principles for
Avoiding the Quick Fix
• Recognize the Deception -- Quick Fixes Don’t Work!
• They look harmless, but they enslave (Hosea 4:10 -11)
• Those enslaved wind up paying a cost far greater than
first anticipated (Joel 3:3)
• Quick fixes are rebellion against God (Hosea 7:14)
• Practice Delayed Gratification (Heb. 11:24-26)
• Exercise Self-Control (2 Peter 1:6)
• Trust God rather than the quick fix (Psalm 37:7-9)
