Three-Time Grammy Award Winner Makes Big Donation to
Auction Benefiting Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund
LOUISVILLE, KY, May 3, 2012—Ski Johnson, a Washington D.C.-based saxophonist with a
captivating soulful jazz style, is making a major donation to the silent auction at Galt House
Hotel’s Night of… One Race, One Winner, One Party, benefiting Permanently Disabled Jockeys
Fund. A Billboard Number One artist and three-time Grammy Award Winner, Johnson is
donating an area on the back of his new album, Underdogs On Top, that a company can place a
logo for advertisement. Johnson will be at the Night of… Party on Derby night at the Galt House
Hotel, and will be available for interviews.
Galt House Hotel’s “Night of… One Race, One Winner, One Party” is May 5, 2012 from 8 p.m.
until 2 a.m. It includes a gourmet dinner, featuring Kentucky Proud products, limitless libations
and a silent auction featuring more than 75 rare items. Next on the list, dancing to the sounds
of a sensational live band that has played the likes of Donald Trump’s New Year’s Eve Party and
