Eligibility
1. The “WIN a FREE “Be a Spidey” Holiday Package to London for 2 & Other Sony XperiaTM
smartphones” Contest (“Contest”) is organized by Mcat Box Office SdnBhd (“MBO”) for MBO
ALLSTAR members.
2. This Contest is open to all MBO ALLSTAR Members who are Malaysians and/or permanent
residents of Malaysia, 18 years old and above, ('Eligible Members'), except employees of MBO, its
partners, advertising agencies, auditors, including their immediate family members and any other
persons involved in organizing, promoting and/or conduction this Contest.
3. Customers who do not have an MBO ALLSTAR Card may join this campaign by signing up as
ALLSTAR member at :

Contest Period
1. The Contest commences on 29 June 2017 and ends on 25 July 2017 (“Contest Period”).

participants must be in good physical conditions. If participants do

take part for safety reasons and alternative experience of the same
value may be arranged)


up the tallest building in Western Europe (The Shard) &
take in mind-blowing Spidey-eye view of the city.
4. Track Down ‘Alien Tech’ at an exclusive VR store :
Uncover a stash of mysterious tech and try out some of
the most cutting-edge VR gadgets in the world at
London’s first VR experience space and store. Includes
guided tour.

Qualification Mechanics
1.
Participants
need

2. To qualify for the contest prize, a purchased a min. 2 movies tickets of SPIDERMAN :
HOMECOMING within the Contest Period is required along with swiping the MBO ALLSTAR Card at
any MBO Cinemas / logged in via MBO webpage is required within the Contest Period.
Winners Selections
1. The Winner with all of correct answers and with the most original, creative and relevant answer
(as determined by the panel judges) shall be selected as winners of the Prize.
2. In the event the selected shortlisted Winner is disqualified, the next eligible winner will be
deemed as the shortlisted Winner.
3. MBO does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to Internet and or other
technical issues. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
4. In the event MBO is unable to contact the shortlisted MBO ALLSTARmember at the telephone
number given by the member (based on the records maintained at MBO) on the first attempt for
reasons including, but not limited to, no reply, number not in use, no connection, voice message, etc,
MBO at its discretion make a second attempt to contact the ALLSTAR member within the next two (2)
hours from the first attempt. If the second attempt is unsuccessful, the shortlisted ALLSTAR member
shall be disqualified from this Contest and shall not be entitled to the Prize.
6. The Grand Prize (stated in Section Contest Prizes) shall be arranged by MBO’s appointed travel
agency to the Prize Winner.
7. MBO ALLSTAR members are entitled to win the Contest prize only once (1 time) throughout the
Contest Period.
Collection of Prizes
1. The winner confirmation email/letter, along with original IC and Proof of Purchase must be
presented for collection of Prize.
2. Winners are required to have a photography session. MBO reserves the rights to use the
photograph(s) for company purposes.
Terms and Conditions of the Prize
Grand Prize x 1
Prize consists of one (1) round-trip trip for two (2) persons aged eighteen (18) or over to
London,UK as follows:
a) Dates of travel must occur between 1st August 2017 and 31st July 2018. All arrangements must be
made via MBO’s designated fulfilment partner, ELEMENTS, and bookings made independently will not be
refunded. Winners must give 3 months’ notice of desired dates of travel, which are subject to
availability. Blackout dates (when travel cannot be taken) are from April 7th -22nd 2017, the months of
July 2017 and August 2017 and 15th December 2017- 10th January 2018. prize cannot be taken over
Christmas, New Year or Public Holidays in the departure or arrival country
b) Flights:
i. Economy return flights for two adults from the winner’s capital city to London, UK.
ii. Flights may be indirect and no stopovers or extensions to the trip are permitted.
iii. Winner and guest must travel at the same time and depart from the same capital city.
iv. Winner and guest must organise their own passport & the passport charges are their responsibility.
c) Accommodation:
i. Accommodation is based on 2 adults sharing a room
ii. Hotel accommodations do not include incidentals, gratuities, telephone calls, or any other personal
expenses incurred during the trip, which will be the responsibility of the winner.
iii. Winners must possess a valid credit card or debit card will be required to guarantee your room on
check in; Stay must include a Saturday night in the hotel
f) Exclusions: The prize excludes domestic ground transfers, meals and drinks, excursions, attractions,
treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package. Any
necessary visas or insurance are the responsibility of the winner and guests. Prize cannot be taken over
Christmas, New Year or Public Holidays in the departure or arrival country
g) Other conditions:
i. All elements of the prize are subject to availability; if unavailable, experiences and items of a
similar nature and value may be offered;
ii. Hotel will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; winners must contact prize
provider with three preferred travel dates no later than six weeks prior to departure. Once
booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled. No cash alternative is offered and the prize
package is non-transferable and non-refundable.
Winner(s) cannot change, vary, substitute or extend any element of the prize (in whole or in
part).
ii. Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be
completed within that time.
General Terms and Conditions
1. By participating in this Contest, the MBO ALLSTAR member agrees to be bound by these terms
and conditions and the decisions of the organizers and judges.
2. The records of the MBO ALLSTAR member and of the transactions maintained by MBO and the
final list of eligible winners shall be final and conclusive.
3. All transactions made during the Contest Period by the MBO ALLSTAR member must be captured
by the MBO Ticketing System in order to qualify for the Contest. Any transactions not captured or
reversal transactions for any reason whatsoever shall not qualify.
4. MBO’s decision on all matters relating to this Contest shall be final, conclusive and binding. MBO
shall not be obliged to give any reasons or enter any correspondence with any person(s) on any
matter concerning the Contest.
5. The names of the winners will be published in MBO website or any other methods of
communication chosen by MBO at its absolute and sole discretion.
6. MBO is not affiliated with SPIDERMAN : HOMECOMING & Sony Mobile Communications
International AB (“SMCI”) and makes no representation or warranty with respect to the quality of
the prizes or its suitability for any purpose.
7. The Prizes are neither transferable nor exchangeable. The winner shall not be entitled to any
other cash compensation, benefits or substitution in any form whatsoever in lieu.
8. MBO reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with other products or services of similar value
with sufficient notification of Twenty One (21) days via any other medium that MBO deems
reasonable and appropriate at its absolute discretion.
9. MBO reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, suspend, extend or terminate this Contest earlier in
whole or in part, or to vary, delete or add any of the terms and conditions herein at any time at its
absolute discretion with sufficient notification within Twenty One (21) days provided via MBO
webpageor any other medium that MBO deems reasonable and appropriate at its absolute
discretion.
10. These terms & conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and eligible MBO ALLSTAR
member shall be deemed to have agreed to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian Courts.
