REMINDER – To All Competitors – In more than 1 Competition






All competitors are advised to report promptly at the advertised times, for the start of their
competition.
It is the responsibility of each competitor to appear promptly at the published time of
competition. The organisers will not accept responsibility for competitors missing
competitions due to late arrival or practising with Groups or Bands.
Every effort will be made to facilitate those involved in more than one competition, provided
they liaise with the Call Steward at the venues concerned.
If competitors are competing in more than one competition, they should advise each call
steward in writing by outlining the precise details of the time, number, etc. of the
competition they are involved in. Advice slips are available for this purpose from the Fleadh
Office.
The onus is on the competitors to be present when called.
Fleadh Rules state competitors shall, as far as possible, compete in the order in which they
are called by the Call Steward. A competitor who fails to present himself/herself when
called for a specific competition, and who has not notified the Call Steward on duty of a
just cause for his/her absence, may be disqualified from the competition. The Call
Steward shall terminate a competition after the completion of a performance by the last
available competitors, unless he/she has been previously notified that the missing
competitor is “held up” in another competition. In this case, the competition shall be held
open for a maximum of fifteen (15) minutes.
This form is to be filled in by Competitors involved in a number of competitions at around
the same time.
It should be handed to the Call Steward/Clerk at EACH venue.
