Whenever you are wanting to participate also on our Bolt Action tournament that will be organised on saturday the 3th of June (9h-18h), then you can buy a Combi Tournament Ticket for 12.5€. Tournament: On the day of the tournament, Entry starts from 09:00. The tournament will start at 10:00, so please come in time! An approved copy of each participant’s army list will be provided. What you should bring: Your copy of the main rulebook and any expansion you are using in your army. A copy of the official FAQs would also be a good idea. Your battleboard, saga dice (homemade ones are allowed of course), fatigue markers, range rulers,… A copy of your armylist. Your preferably painted warband. Some Cash for food and drinks, retailers and 2nd hand stand at the con! Army lists: It is required to send your Amy list to this Mail address: [email protected] Your army list should clearly state which warband you are using, your points breakdown and the inclusion of any special characters or units. The tournament will be played with a 6 point warband chosen from: SAGA Dark Age Skirmishes Rulebook SAGA: Northern Fury SAGA: Raven’s Shadow SAGA: Varjazi & Basileus SAGA The Crescent & The Cross SAGA Aetius & Arthur Skraelings & Steppe Tribes lists found in Wargames Illustrated magazine and the studio tomahawk website. All existing armies, Dogs of War, Swords for Hire, mercenaries, bards, priests, banners,… found in the above books and publications may be used (including the altered Dark Ages armies as mentioned in Aetius & Arthur, p57-62) . All Heroes of the Viking Age, Heroes of the Crusading Age and Heroes of the Invasions are allowed. Exceptions: SAGA Revenants or Arab lists from Wargames Illustrated are NOT allowed. The army list should also state if you’re bringing any different warlord, any bard, priest, mercenaries,… If you select any of these named units or characters, you must use these every battle. The point breakdown should also remain the same for each battle. Remember that you can combine or divide units of the same type into units of minimum 4 and maximum 12 men (i.e. 3 points of warriors can be deployed into two units of 12 men each), and that some armies permit different equipment options (mounted or on foot, crossbows or spears, etc.) and that you can change this each battle. You are asked to bring models to represent the different equipment options if possible. The army list composition and the inclusion of any special characters, mercenaries,… should be sent in a .word or .pdf or similar file to [email protected] The army list should be sent to us before 29/05/2017! The tournament Three battles will be played, and a total of 80 tournament points can be earned: 24 points per battle, 5 points for a fully painted/based army , and 3 points for sending your army list on time. Battle 1: Cattle raid (Arthur & Aetius page 72) (Markers may be dice or custom made) Battle 2: Battle around the Campfire (Arthur & Aetius page 70) (After a good beer during the lunch break things tend to happen hehe) Battle 3: Champions of god (Crescent & cross page 110) Victory type and points: In addition to the scenario rules for choosing the victor, follow this table for each battle to determine the tournament points: WINNER CRUSHING Victory 12 1 20 5 16 9 13 13 VP difference < 12 MINOR Victory 3VP 24 VP difference MAJOR Victory 8 LOSER difference < 8 DRAW Difference in VP < 3 After each round, both the tournament and victory points should be given to the organisation. Painting: The tournament organisers will decide on a top painter. The points given is as followed: 0-5: 5 points if you have a fully painted army with at least three colours on each model; or 2 points if not everything but at least half of your army is painted with at least three colours; or 0 points if less than half is painted! Basing: 0-5 depending on how much of your army is based and the quality of the basing Painting: 0-8 points How models are painted. Army painter or brushwork maybe both, Highlights special techniques… Warlords Pride : 0-2 points for your warlord. He is your Alter-ego so he needs to look Good! Tournament awards: We will provide price support for the top ranking players. Players will be ranked according to the Tournament Points. In case of two players having the same TP, the gained victory points will decide. If the VP are also equal, The one with the longest beard wins! A price for top painting wil also be awarded!
